HelIO vj'ers i just received email from NVC ,they sent me a checklist which is the police clearance from the countries my mom went before,.like Taiwan Hong Kong and Greece,..Does anyone here from Philippines who had experience in getting police clearance from this countries? In Greece she can go to Greece embassy in Manila,my friend told me but in Taiwan and Hongkong Can she go to the embassies of Taiwan and Hongkong in Manila to get this clearance?..I appreciate for your answers .thanks

In our inn, the valets/doormen/diningroom staff's tips all go into a kitty and are split between all the staff downstairs. The house-keeping staff split whatever tips that have been left in the rooms specifically for the maids.
It would be great if we got a share of their tips too but we don't, it's just the way it works there.
There's also a kind of hierarchy thing going on too, the downstairs staff don't seem to have a lot of respect and kindness towards the maids for some reason or other.

Hi! My parents was approved during their interview on June 2, 2016. Heres their visa status update!

Mom:
June 3, 2016 - Ready but its not stated that its open. The information is still about their interview thingy.
June 6, 2016 - Ready and still not stated as its open.....
Can somebody enlighten me about my moms visa status? What to expect?

If you register an account on the uscis website, you can set alerts and look at the last touched date on the file. Are you aware of that ?

just to share my story guys..first of all,i really thank God for guiding me,and also this visa journey ,even i saw this site only after my interview,im still thankful for meeting some friends in here,and their answers and stories really great help to me......for almost 2 months of waiting for my visa,,..today is my lucky day,coz,my visa is already in my hands,this is the best birthday gift i have ever received,,..and hopefully by Monday(my birthday may 21 ) im going to have my CFO seminar,after this i still want to enjoy some family outings and i have to transfer all my duties and obligations in our church. in may 30,it will be my despidida party,im sure it will be a "tearing day"for all of us.....and on june 2,that will be my poe to honolulu... :dance: :dance: finally we'will be together again with my husband after 2 years of waiting...the long distance relationship will be over,.. and it will be our 3rd year wedding anniversary on the 18th, of jun :D öur laughing day"
God's time is really the best of times...
He knows best and plans everything for me...it is worth waiting for the right timing... :) :) yehey...
to all who have not yet done with their visa journey..just keep on praying and waiting,everything will be given to u at d right time. (L)
