They kept the passport which is a good sign. Just check online.

Possibly, the consul had to check some additional details. It happens.

But they gave them a number to call to schedule another appointment with both parents . Do you know where online I can check . Thank you

  2. Hello everyone ! My niece who is 11 had her appointment this morning at the Guadalajara embassy but the weirdest thing happen to her , she went Thur the whole process of question asked her why she wanted to come to the USA and she said to visit  Disney and her family and asked her mom what she worked in  then asked about her dad which they are divorced and answered that but as son as that happen the council told her that for the moment she couldn't approve the visa with the information she had but she kept her passport and papers and gave her a sheet with phone number to call and schedule and appointment with a council . We have never heard of something like this before . Any one with similar experience please let us know what to expect . Thank you

  3. The actual application would be handled by her Parent, Parent does not have to visit as well if that is what you mean.

I know the parents handles everything like paper work etc but i want to know if a minor can apply for a visa herself because I was reading that the only way was for a parents to apply for a visa as well

  4. Hi everyone! Quick question my 10 year old niece wants to come visit me in Los Angeles she lives in Guadalajara Mexico . My question is can she apply for a U.S. Tourist visa by herself or those it have to be with a parent?

    Thank you

  5. My sister in law has a tourist visa has travel to USA beforefeom mexico but only for about 2 weeks at a time. Now she want to travel and stay about 6 months, is that possible? She want to come and study English here. Any advice would be appreciated

  6. I would try to schedule an Infopass still. While waiting for your appointment date, call the USCIS and ask to speak to an immigration officer that has access to your case information, since the tier 1 folks that man the phone do not. See if you can get the status of your case.

I already had the appointment for the greendcard and its was approved i was suppose to get it in the mail within 90 days and still nothing. Thats why im worried. I have been trying to make a infopass appointment and it says there is none available right now

  7. Hi everyone . Im scared and worried its been 90 days since we had our interview which went bad the first time because we had forgotten a paper but thankfully they told us to come back with the missing info and that everything would be fine. We came back 1 week later and they told us everything was fine that our case was approved and that we should be getting my husbands green card soon from 30 to 90 days he also gave us a paper saying congratulations your case was approved. The 90 days are up this week and unfortunately we have not received anything and there is no change status on the uscis web. Its still stuck on the interview. Anyone else going thru this? Any advice would be nice.

  8. You dont need the blood wok again some doctors are just trying to get your money thats why you just have to call one by one of the doctors and ask because they also have different prices. I just had something similar happen we had our interview last week and the consul said my husband just needed his shots,so we called the doctor and some started of at 500 dollar just for the vaccine but after lots of calls we finally got some doctor for 150 . Dont let them trick u into getting stuff u had sone already
