You don't track it with USPS. People know it is on the way by checking their status on the USCIs number using the receipt number from your NOA's or if they have signed up for e-notifications,

So i go to the same page that i go to check my status at the uscis website with the same number of my noas ... I signed up for email and text notification when i sent all my packages but i never get them... but i see in that part of their website i can sign up for email notification, can i do that too?

Oh!! I just checked my online status, it says that my EAD is in production! yayyy!! and the travel permit one they approved it too... when will i get the interview letter notice???

My update.. still waiting for any email or something after that my biometrics were taking on may 3rd! I hope to get any email soon with good news . It has been a very exhausting procedure really.

Hello Everyone!

I had my Biometrics appointment today and it went everything well... On the letter said 9:00AM I got there at 8:45, and at 9:00 I was driving home already...

Today also I went to the DMV, to try(ONE MORE TIME) to get my driver`s lisence, once I got a letter from the DMV saying that I was ELIGIBLE to get my driver`s lisence after they check with the USCIS for more information and request my official status...

So once I was there, the guy who attended me seemed again to have no idea what the hell were all those paers, and then he said that my NOAs were not valid because they were supposed to be green and not white. I said look thats what I got from the immigration... then he went to the supervisor room with my documentation and the letter from the DMV and then he comes back 20 min later, and he say I won`t be able to get it because my social security have my maiden name on it, and the USCIS documentation, my married name.... So, to sum up I left the Dmv without driver`s lisence and I was so pissed they will always find a new reason to not give it to me. I gave up today... Waiting for my EAD now....

Today also I got a text message from USCIS saying my case was updated. YAY When I checked the website, it says Prduction of EAD and something telling me to wait 30 days so they can mail it!

Well, I`m happy even after all of this bullshit, with DMV and that my case got a lil behind because with the problem with my undeliverable NOA`s but I`m glad I had no RFE`s for now!

This is my update!!

Finally got my biometrics appointment (i had to call... they said they already sent it but oh well), anyway i got my bio appointment and i did my biometrics last thursday 3rd of may. It went all fine! If anyone has the biometrics pending, please dont forget to take your marriage certificate because I saw a couple of people that they didnt let in because they didnt have any ID that shows the new name, so the only way to show the new name is with the marriage certificate (thats what i did).

So my questions is... now what's next? How long after the biometrics I have to wait for my next letter??

i think as long as your flying within the country it should be okay, if you feel more comfortable you can bring your NOA's i mean it wouldnt hurt anyways.. go to http://www.tsa.gov/ im sure itll give you more information on traveling.

Yes, I read in other posts that i will just need a passport and my NOAS and I think that considering that my I-94 wont expired by that time things are cool . I just want to be sure hehe .

Is it posible to get a state card (california id card, not a driving license) while AOS? Considering that I dont have a SSN? Is it possible?

Thanks!!! I have a question.. My husband and me will be going on a trip for a few days to LA on mothers day weekend(We live close to Sacramento). Is it ok for me to travel by plane during my AOS? I have my passport and visa ok (meaning that my visa has NOT expired and my legal stay of 6 months has NOT expired by that time either, it will expired at the end of may). Should I take my Noas just in case so its a prove im in process? Or at the aiport they dont care about that because is a domestic flight? They just check the passport?

Hi, congrats on your bio and interview. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you'll get your EAD in time before your interview being that you have been scheduled for interview for first week of May and you are yet to even do your bio. Personally, I'd say for you to just settle for getting your actual green card cause from all indications and if things go well for you guys at the interview which I hope it does, you'll have your green card in no time which will eventually make the EAD pretty much useless.

I wish you luck and if you could share your experience after your interview and timeline, I'm sure a lot of people here will gladly appreciate it. Thank you and God bless!

Finally I got my biometrics today ( we called on tuesday), my appointment is for the first week of May... so im more relaxed now ... altough in their letter it says they sent the biometrics letter with my NOAS but really I never got it! Anyway, Im very happy that i finally got my biometrics appointment. Does anyone know what happens AFTER BIOMETRICS? Do I get EAD? ...

I sent everything on March 12th, got my NOAS but it's been more than a month now and i have not recieved my biometrics appointment, why is it taking so long . Anyone who has applied on march has the same problem??

Ok guys its 30 days from the notice datea (NOA 1) and i have NOT recieved my appointment for biometrics In NOA1 it says very clear that the next step is my biometrics and i should get a letter for it... but nothing! I saw March filers forum and lots of them who sent their package before me has already gotten their dates or already gone for it.

My local office I think iS Sacramento.. why is it taking sooo longggg

My question is, HOW LONG is it going to take for the Biometrics appointment letter to arrive? How long does it usually take? I am making AOS from B1/B2 visa.
