Got my card today! yay!!! It was so fast! I am so happy!

Good luck everyone!

I just got a mail saying my GC is on it's way!

So, on saturday I got the congratulations letter and I guess I will get my new green card sometime this week .

I am really happy that for each thing I requested info they have always sent me a letter by mail (they even sent me one saying that I did not need biometrics).

Hi all!

I AOS March 2012, all went good and I got approved AOS june 2012. I sent my ROC papers May 7th, and I got an email today saying my card is in production . I am so happy! I did not need biometrics!

My question is: how long after I get the email saying my card is in production do I actually get the new card? Thanks

This is what u need to do while being a permanent resident and you change of adress.

Permanent Resident send this online:

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms

And... the american citizen(wife or husband) who signed the affidavit support (I 864) has to send FORM I 865 a form via mail notifying the change of adress too. DON'T FORGET THIS PART OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES WHEN YOU DO YOUR ROC PROCESS.

I started looking for a job as soon as I got my EAD approval email and managed to secure employment within 14 days. So far I am pretty happy with my employer and working in the US in general-- the vacation time or lack there of sucks though, but there is not much i can do about that... just happy to be legal, making money and in the next 63 days I will qualify for health insurance through my employer

cool... i started to look for a job now that im all legal... i hope i can find something refering to my career (business adm)... so i hope im lucky with it... also im moving to a new hoouse at the end of the month...

Good news!!

I got my GC!!!! Im all green now! I also got my 2 letters saying i got approved and welcome!! Yayyyy!!1

Question! I still didnt get the HARDCOPIES of the aproval of I 130 OR THE welcome letter for the I 485... BUT TODAY I saw the status on the website and it says this:

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on June 27, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Soooo... is it possible to get the GC without the other 2 hardcopies of aproval ????? Or should i get the other 2 letters first before the gc?????
