Just wondering how long after completing and submitting your ds-261 was the IV fee invoiced recently? I completed my ds-261 last thursday night. just getting anxious to be able to pay THE IV bill.

It took mine nearly 3 weeks. I found from reading what others are doing is to fill out the paper DS-3032 and e-mail it in as well as do the DS-261.

She can visit, however, there is no guarantee she will be granted entry to the US by CBP. She should carry proof of ties to Mexico in case they are asked for by CBP.

Thanks, do you think having the interview scheduled in Mexico would be a good enough proof of ties to Mexico?

My wife is from Mexico (I'm a US citizen) and already has a B1/B2 visa. We were married in the states last year (dating for 2 years) and she returned to Mexico after the US wedding. We have been able to spend a lot of the past 6 months together as I was able to go on some long business trips and take her along, but she has not returned to the states. Since she has a B2 visa, can she come to the states on that visa for a 1 week vacation while going through the process for the CR1?
