  5. Hi hun, just passing by to see how you're doing :)

  6. Congressman contacted us, the letter basically said they received our inquiry and assigned a staff on our case to follow up with it along with a number we could call. Guess we'll wait for a few days in anticipation.

I've seen many people get an approval within a couple days. Hold tight!

I hope it works out for you and you get your petition approved soon. That is way too long to wait. My husband is from Turkey also, and I like to read love stories like yours.

Yeah, can't believe it's been this much... That's sweet! It was fun writing it down and remembering those moments... :)

  8. Sent in our letter to congressman... mixed feelings whether it'll be useful for us or not. Everyone has different thoughts

  9. We'll try contacting the congressman as a last resort... hope it will be useful.

  10. 7 months and counting, no NOA2 in sight. Disappointed is one of my emotions.

Welcome aboard! I was so discouraged I never reached out to anybody. So glad I came over here. So did you contact congressman? We'll try that as a last resort...

I wrote to my congressman. Apparently the congressmen have a person that specifically handles these visa matters. For us it's a woman named Susan. She's sent in two inquiries for us now, but to be honest, at present they don't seem to do be anything to speed things along. I doubt USCIS pays them much attention at all.
