  3. Hello .....

I was already married to US citizen when I had B2 visa denied for the first time, when my husband came to my country to spend his vacation and christmas with my family we tried again, and it was denied again !
We had the same suggestion... they said I have ties enough in US to not come back...

We applied to Spouse visa and it was approved !

But since you met her online, you must go to her country to meet her in person, it will be need for the fiancee application...
Save your flight boarding passes, hotel receipts, shop receipts, get pics with her and her family...
Save this to attach as proof with your form !!

And good luck for you two !! :)

  4. I can't say for sure that they are connected, but I was able to log in just fine yesterday, then this morning, no luck. Another person on the May NVC thread said that after she got her case complete on Friday she started getting the same error message, so I went ahead and called, and yes indeed, my case is complete. I would call NVC.

That's what happened to me ....

I was able to log in just fine yesterday, then this morning, no luck

  5. I was trying to see my case status at NVC ....

    https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

and after fill my case number I got the message bellow :

    Application Error
An unexpected error has occurred while processing your previous request. The error has been reported to the site administrator; no further action is required.

I can open my Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Page and see my receipt...

Anyone else experienced the same situation today?!?

  6. Send an email to NVCResearch@state.gov

On the subject line ... Your USCIS receipt number and beneficiary name ....

Send attached a scanned copy of your NOA 2 Approval Notice

    I wrote this way :

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Unfortunately The National Visa Center (NVC) do not have any record of
receiving the petition WACXXXXXXXXXX, beneficiary name: XXXXXXXX, approved on Jan XX, 2013.
I'd like to know my NVC case number and IIN number.

    Thanks for your Attention,

PS.. They will spend 1-2 weeks to answer your email !!!

  8. expedite request at NVC is only to forward expedite request to embassy.

embassy reviews request, approves or denies request.

if approved, NVC casefile processing stops, casefile is bundled up and sent on.

IMO/E - your reasons for expedite not matter - they are of no consequence and Embassy IV staff clearly deny. But that's just my opinion, my experience. You could certainly try, you've nothing to lose.

Start by using a telephone, call into NVC, get a supervisor, talk about expedite.

    Hello Darnell

I writing to you because it's sound a bit wierd... but after sometime without open any topic and with the change here ...

It's sounds stupid, but I cannot find where and how to start a new topic...hhaahaha

USCIS and NVC are burning my brain !!! My husband says I am start to be retarded after our process was filled ... LOL

    How can I open a new topic ?? !

    Thanks for your help...

  9. We have both of our names on the rental lease, medical insurance, and car insurance.

I added my spouse to some of the utilities, but they said he will be an authorized user on the account. I asked if his name can appear on the statements along with my name and they said no….only one name will appear on the statements.

Do you think this will show enough of joint accounts? We don’t have a joint bank account yet. We were going to wait until he starts working and gets direct deposit. Does anybody know if that will cause a problem?

Ask them to send you a letter showing the name of authorized user on the account, you can make copy of contracts with his name.. you had to fill some paper to include him ? if yes, keep a simple copy. I did it !!

I am an authorized user on the credit card account of my husband, on the statements come just his name, but we did a copy of the front side of each card in the same sheet, and of our health insurance cards too.

  10. Hi, I'd like to find a lawyer for obtaining a Fiancee Visa for my fiancee who lives in Morocco. I live in New York and the fees are very high, but I noticed that the lawyer fees in other near states (like Connecticut or New Jersey) are much lower. Is it better to work with a lawyer from where I live? Can the lawyer make the difference for the case? Is Morocco a difficult country for immigration? Thank you !!!!!

    Hello ...

I found my lawyer searching on google, He is honest and I like to work with him...

Since you are honest with him, talk with him about all your fears and what problem you have on your case... He will tell how to avoid problems, help you with all the information you need on your case and work together, every step your case he will keep contact with you...You can see his fees on his web site...

And the most important thing to me is that he always answer our emails and when my husband call him... He attend the call.

I like him very very much...

  11. So first, this isn't for me. My husband and I went through a Fiance Visa and did everything "by the book"! I'm asking on behalf of a friend.

He is dating this girl from Brazil. She came her with her family when she was about 4 years old, or something similar and now she is somewhere between 18-25 years old. She came here on a visitor's visa. And overstayed. Overstayed by 14-21 years. She is facing deportation in June. So my friend is marrying her with the hopes it will get her a 'free pass' to stay.

Now I've never gone about it this way, but from what I understand, even if they got married, she would still be deported. Then because she was here illegally, she would be slapped with the 10 year ban and he would have to file a Spouse Visa while she was back in Brazil. And they would have to fight the 10 year ban and prove it's not a marriage strictly for the Green Card. (Which woud prove to be difficult because that's exactly what it is.)

Do they have any option or any chance of this working out in their favor? I feel bad, but I don't see this working out for them. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation and if so, what was the outcome?

Hi, your friend situation is very common. It seems like you understand how important this is and what the consequences are !!!

It will not succeed.... USCIS will prove that it is a sham marriage and she will face years in jail and be deported anyway and get a lifetime ban and it means till 10 years in jail and till $250.000 in fees for both US citizen and alien...

For those reasons your friend should really get the help of a good immigration attorney.

Maybe your friend be able to try the waiver that Obama created last year for illegal immigrants... If she went there while child... I don't know all that happened to her and why she didn't make anything to change it before.

But your friend should not try to make it... IT IS NOT THE WAY TO TRY TO FIX THIS SITUATION !! Things will get very very worst !!

  12. Thats not good news for my mom, but have no choice

    Thanks for your reply

She just need to show them that the time she will remain in the country meet the things she is going attend, bring with her proof of intent to come back to her home country ! And that she has financial conditions to pay her stay ... ;)

    Everything will be fine...

  13. How it works in the embassy, when she will have interview can i go with her to translate, will they let me in?

My mom dont want to go by herself

You cannot attend the tourist visa interview with her,

and all the question will be asked on her on the language of the country where she is going to get it done !

Here in Brazil I had all the question asked in portuguese to me !

  14. Keep checking your status case online, when your petition go to the field office they will send you a transfer notice, and they will update it online...

But they will not tell the name or address where it was sent.

If you didn't get any transfer notice, then your case can be adjucated at NBC same ...

Well ... good luck ! Hope you get your NOA2 as soon as possible ;) ;)

  15. My husband live in Nevada, due his address my petition was forwarded to Reno field office, every petition applied after Aug,15/2012, were sent to NBC and then routed to the field office close to the petitioner address.

My husband live in Nevada, due his address my petition was forwarded to Reno field office, every petition applied after Aug,15/2012, were sent to NBC and then routed to the field office close to the petitioner address.

The good thing I can say to you is that I got my petition approved 2 months after they get my case...

but if in your package you didn't include birth certificate of beneficiary, wait for a (RFE) Request For Evidence...once you sent it with translation, they make a final decision fast...

After I sent my RFE, took 14 days to get it approved.

The field office address will not appear on your case status page.

  16. I looked at the paperwork and you are right at the bottom of the page it give the address as the National Benefits Center

and the number to National Customer Service Center for question. I am confused since my ID# start with MSC

Where are they now since it said on the USCIS site it in Review.

It will be processed there ...

Look in which state and city the petitioner lives, and then search what is the field office for that place.

It will not appear on your case status page.
