This waiting really sucks...6 months in counting...7 months since the last time we were in each other's arms...

I agree with hnubno. It can be hard to keep busy so you're not entirely consumed with the waiting, but keep at it. I think it gets worse when the interview has been set and it gets closer to the interview date. I am so much more antsier these days to get that over with so I can buy his plane ticket to know exactly when to expect him here with me.

congrats! It's promising to see someone with the same NOA1 date as me to receive their NOA2 this week. Good luck!

The most precious things of this world are worth waiting for. Have a blessed day!
-
hey Cuz, oh ok. So, I just wait until after the 6 month mark and then call. Alright, well it's getting close to it. Once it hits the 4th of December then that'll be 6 months and I'll definitely be diligently harassing them ahhaha...but in an assertive, demanding way. Thanks for the advice, Cuz! And I'm sorry to hear about your loss in WI.
-
Anyways, I'm getting anxious and have considered calling VSC about our case. I mean shall I wait until the predicted date and if I don't get it, then call? What can I do, Cuz?
-
yeah, you're absolutely right about having faith. Wow, it's been almost a year since you guys have seen each other? Thats insane! But on the bright side, the next few months should fly by. You guys waited a year already, a few more will strengthen nej txoj kev hlub xwb.
-
Oh yea? That sounds good, Rick! I'm glad that your wife is fitting into the lifestyle well. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy you guys' stay in MN and if I come across any questions, then I'll definitely have to give you a call.
-
I still have faith that soon I'll hear something soon the USCIS. I hope that I'll receive our NOA2 soon so that we can possibly go to Laos together for our fiance's interviews and possibly have lunch together. Anyways, how are things going for you and your hubby?
-
Hi Cuz! Naw, I haven't received any news of our NOA2 as of yet. According to the VJ prediction, I'm suppose to receive a notice sometime by the end of this month. Although, I am passed the 5 months mark and I feel like giving them a call but I'm hesitant since they might just tell me to continue to wait like everyone else.
-
Hey Rick! How are things going for you guys? Hope all is well. Anyways, did you change your phone number? If you don't mind, could you pm me your phone number just in case I have some visa-related questions that I'd like to ask you, that is if you don't mind.
-
thanks for the friend request. How's the process coming along for you and your loved one?
-
My fiance hasn't said anything about it yet but when she does, I'll be sure to be there and comfort her and let her know that no matter what, she'll be okay. The glass is half-full, not half-empty.
-
yeah man! I totally understand where you're coming from. I mean, it's gonna be a huge culture shock but then again, I'm sure you guys will adjust just fine. I agree with you on the expedite request. I'm not going to do it, VSC should be giving us an answer some time soon this month or next month. We've waited long enough.

Congrats, Ge! Thov kom nej ua lub neeg kom zoo mus es kom muaj kev sib hlub, kev sib pab, thiab txog kev zoo mus lawm yam tom ntev. Thiab kom xav tau dabtsi los kom tau nawb.
-
I wonder what are the qualifications to get a expedited request due to financial loss or something like that. I'm contemplating on requesting it but we'll see.
-
oh ok I see. Don't worry, Cuz, soon it'll all be over because at least you're already waiting for an interview date while I'm still waiting on my NOA2...Hopefully its soon because my fiance is going through a tough tough time right now in her life and I'm so worried about her. I miss her like crazy too and theres nothing I can do about it besides continuing to wait.
-
oh geez!! That seems so hectic, Cuz. I'm sure that it won't be that booked. Just wait until after your hubby gets his medical exam done. I think it'll be faster than that. Also, there is an expiration for the visa? I never knew that.
-
Congrats, Ge! I'm happy to hear that you guys will finally get to be together.
-
I'm so excited for you, Xue! It's almost time for you guys to get an interview. I still have to wait and it sucks like crazy.
-
That's what I'm planning to do. I think it'll be a good thing if you can be there as moral support for your fiance. Just my 2 cents

"tshuav tsis ntev lawm xwb" is what I keep telling myself...

Hey Hnubno, we're doing great. Just still waiting on the NOA2 which we're expecting it sometimes this month or the beginning of next month. This wait is taking a toll on the both of us. But on the bright side, we talk everyday and do miss each other very much. Anyways, hows everything going for you guys?
-
awesome! That's what I figured as well since it's actually quite simple, filling out the paperwork. Anyways, best of luck to the both of you. It's almost done.
-
So far, I've been gathering the last paperwork that's needed such as pay stubs, phone call history, and organizing our photo album. Also, I decided to do the required paperwork myself instead of having them do it over there. How'd you go about y'alls case?
-
yessir! my fiance and I are next in line to get our NOA2. Our K1 is at Vermont and at the rate they're going, we probably won't get any news until the next couple of months or so which sucks...But it's like what they say, "The most precious things or someone is worth the wait." Hopefully, you guys will get approved soon.
