  1. Hello VJ's

Im little confuse here I know MSC stand for Missouri Service Center but just wondering my files routed/transfered to NBC

Correct me f am wrong well instead where my file is in process to NBC supposetedly my receipt # should start from NBC

Am not a lawyer or a legal consultant I do not know about immigration law, My ability was not really high will i be expected

Just need to get an exact brief explaination in this regards of my case

I know some of us here were the same case as mine.

The receipt number beginning with MSC is correct. My file was transfered to the NBC and had the MSC********** as well. SInce August 2012, all the stand alone I-130 were being transfered to the NBC. Here is the link for more info: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=c3c7ca7c5fed9310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=e7801c2c9be44210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

  2. Its been about 6 days already and i haven't received any emails from them yet regarding the DS-3230, should i send the physical signed form as well just as backup?

Be patient and you will receive email confirmation regarding your Choice of Agent. It can take up to 20 days for the DS-3032 to be accepted. As long as you already submitted the AOS package, you are fine.

  3. Case approved and told sent to NVC. 36 days later and it has not made it to the NVC or NVC has no

record of recieving it. I have called USCIS they say call NVC, I called NVC and they say call USCIS.

Then told at the USCIS to call dept of state and they say there is no record of it making it to NVC.

Does anyone have any advice to share or that might help?

Lost and confused just want to know where my case is....

I see so many getting to NVC in a week or two..

I noticed lately that some people are in the same situation as yours. I hope they found your file. Someone is not doing his job well there...

  4. I received the NOA2 Approval Notice last week. This was faster than I expected for my December application (they told me 8 months on the phone),so I'm very happy that things are moving along!

I just want to confirm; over the next one to two months the case will be forwarded to my service center, then the US embassy in Japan, and then my fiance will be notified about how to proceed, right?

The process flowchart on this site states that now is a good time to begin research for the procedures required by the embassy. Does anyone know what we might expect from the US embassy in Sapporo, Japan?

Also, this form says that the approval notice is valid until 8/09/2013. Is this the deadline by which she needs to appear at the embassy with the required documents?

    Thanks for your time!

    Congratulations!

  5. Hi VJ's

I apologize for excessive posting , I just need a further info or ideas from VJ'S were is related with my case ( December 2012 filers I-130) of US citizen. I've seen a lot same as mine had been received their NOA2 late march or early april. I know not all the applicant under same process were the same and that depends what service center are we in. but I just want your opinion when and how long will have to wait for NOA2

my question is : for more than 4 months or close to 5months now in process which mean (no RFE or Denial expectation?) assuming: so does it mean a big possibility of waiting for approval?

anyone here give some input related to my case.. gladly appreciated..

    Djaneto31,

Just be patient since you are only within 4 months after filling your petition. It seems like more people are now being approved for the last week or two. Was your file transfered to the NBC (National Benefits Center)? If so, you should make the appointment through the infopass to speak with your local USCIS Immigrant Office about your case. I am sure a lot of people here will agree with me that you are only within 4 months. If you don't hear anything after 5 months, then you can start looking to question. Hope my inputs are helpful.

  6. Hello Everyone,

I need some advise about this process. I filed in August for my parents; my mother got approved 2 weeks ago while my father got a RFE and the requested evidences I have sent to the Vermont Service Center . The RFE is in review mode as of today but I got the letter from the NVC about my mum's case to make the AOS processing fees.

My question is do I have to make 2 AOS processing fee payments separately or do I make only one payment that would cover both parents? Also the attached DS-3032, since it is easier to scan and send it back to me when my parents signs it, does NVC accept copies?

I will be looking forward to your responses. God Bless You all and God Bless America.

    Ola

Instead of going forward with your mom's case at the NVC, you can wait a little bit for your father's case as well. Once you know that both have been assigned NVC case numbers, then you can only make ONE AOS payment for both cases. If you decided not to wait, you will end up paying two (2) AOS fees due to the timing. Someone corrects me if I am wrong.

  7. That was extremely quick response review! My fiance got a phone call on Wednesday from the congressman's office about a rfe, the same evening we knew what the rfe was about - leaving a blank space in question 9 - have you been married before - instead of putting NONE! Such a minor thing, so cheer up folks, your rfe's might really trivial as well. Anyway, he corrected it and emailed it back to the congrssman's office same evening and my status changed from request for evidence to request for evidence response review. Two days later he got a text message saying your petition has been approved and the blue circle moved again to post decision activity! The congressman's office has been fenomenal!

I am so happy to see so many July, August folks approved! Our lives will finally move on! Good luck everyone and hopefully see you in AOS forum :star:

    Congratulations! That's a good news....

  8. Couldn't resist to call again today. They received our applications on April 12th, but not entered yet into the system.

It's a step forward from my call on Monday when the ISO said that they had received our applications the previous week but could not tell us exactly when.

I will call again next Monday to hoepfully get our IINs and case numbers.

Good luck to you all! :)

My file was received on April 12th as well. I have been calling them everyday since. I will call them again on Monday or Tuesday.

  9. Yeh u still have lot lot and lot and lot of time.. Because this bill will go in house, senate and than president sign and than final deadline.. so lot of time and than deadline..

Thanks Nick_34! I thought the same thing too, but sometimes it's better to get informed. I am going to add one more for my sister as well.

  10. Hey everyone,

I've been preparing my i-130 application to bring my mum to the states and it seems that the only supporting document I need to include is my birth certificate. Is that really all they require? I was thinking they would at least want to see documents that prove I earn enough to be able to support her out here... or will that come at a later stage of the process?

    Thanks!

You need a copy of your birth certificate to file I-130 Petition.

  11. hi everyone :)

Answers are really Appreciated :) Thank you!

im still waiting for the next step of my Parents Journey there I-130 was approved last March 11,2013 been a 1month and 5days still haven't hear anything from NVC. but anyways just thinking ahead.

Where they gonna send the DS-230?

if its to my Parents can i fill-up for them?

il download DS-230 send it to philippines so Parents can sign on it and Parents will send it back to me and im the one gonna send it to NVC you think this will be okey?

    thank you again..

    miajaz,

That's a quite longer for not hearing from the NVC. Usually, it takes up to 14 days for the case number and Invoice Identification number to be generated by the NVC. You need to call them immediately!! Don't wait too long!

Here is the NVC number: 1-603-334-0700. You will be asked for the USCIS Receipt number. If the case has been assigned, you will be given the case # and IIN. Be ready to provide also the email address where all the correspondences will be sent. I hope this help.

  12. Family Visas Cut, Family Visas Added

The immigration bill promises to clear out the existing backlog of over 4 million family members of U.S. citizens and permanent residents waiting for green cards to join their family members. Over the next 10 years, all those who've already petitioned to come to the U.S. could be allowed in.

But beginning 18 months after the bill takes effect, U.S. citizens will no longer be allowed to bring their non-citizen siblings to the U.S. Those currently waiting in the long visa backlogs will be cleared, but after that, if you're from another country and your brother or sister is in the U.S., they'll be of no help to get you here.

The bill would also stop granting visas to the adult married children of U.S. citizens.

On the other hand, the legislation does make changes that will help unite some families who now have to wait decades. For example, currently, an endless number of citizens can petition for green cards for their minor children and spouses, but there's a cap on the number of these family members who legal residents can sponsor. The bill would remove that cap and allow all minor kids and spouses of residents to come to the U.S.

    jolly786,

I am currently in the process of sending the two (2) petitions for my two (2) young brothers. If I sent out the I-130 petitions by next week, would I still have time before it becomes law?

  13. Read the following points carefully educed from summary of Immigration reform bill.

    1. The bill eliminates the backlog for family and employment-based immigrants (see below discussion of merit-based system).

    2. The bill repeals the availability of immigrant visas for siblings of U.S. citizens once 18 months have elapsed since the date of enactment.

    3. Under one component of this merit based system the Secretary will allocate merit-based immigrant visas beginning on October 1, 2014 for employment-based visas that have been pending for three years, family-based petitions that were filed prior to enactment and have been pending for five years, long-term alien workers and other merit based immigrant workers.

    ------------------------------------------------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx---------------------------

    1. The bill eliminates the backlog for family and employment-based immigrants (see below discussion of merit-based system).

    A. It means bill will eliminate backlog , but people who won't get their visas after 18 months of enactment will have to go through merit based immigration.

    2. The bill repeals the availability of immigrant visas for siblings of U.S. citizens once 18 months have elapsed since the date of enactment.

    A. it means very simple , No More visas for F4 once 18 month time has elapsed.than you must have to qualify for the visa through merit based immigration.

    A. It means they plan to start Merit based system and repeal F4 from 1 October 2014.

according to mathematical calculation it is wrong , 18 months will elapsed on December 2014 , if bill would pass and enactment is done on 4 July 2013.

but if you calculate from today ,April , than it is exactly correct.

from April it will take 18 months to reach October 2014.

So I think senators have wrote this bill in sense of today, April.

they have left this point to amended by senate to change the month 1 October 2014 to December 2014.

Thanks for sharing the info! I think I better hurry up and begin petionning my young two (2) brothers as soon as possible before all these bills become laws. A lot of things are changing!

  14. ===================================================================================================

Please guide me as to how to make an appointment through "Infopass" . Is it through some website ? Thanks

    ===================================================================================================

    Gar9,

No problem. It's easy and simple. Here is the link that will take you to the "INFOPASS": http://infopass.uscis.gov/

Once you are there, look on the left where it said: "Click here for English". Click there and you will be asked to complete the rest...

Let me know if you need further assistance.

  15. Hello Guys,

We have problem. I just spoke with my sister in the Dominican Republic and she hasn't received her interview letter yet. She is checking with the post office and they told her that they haven't received anything yet. We received both letters here in the states, I received the email i/l on 3/29/13 and the regular mail on 4/9/13. Do you guys think that we should contact the National Visa Center. This is very weird. Please advise. Thanks.

    Tania2013,

Just forward the NVC email that contains the Interview Letter to your sister. In my situation, my brother email was used as a beneficiary email address. All the correspondences from NVC emailed to the petitioner (Agent) were also copied to my brother's email. Did you make copies of all the documents sent to the NVC? If so, send the package to your sister via DHL or FedEx, including the Interview Letter. She can contact the Consulate right away after receiveing the package or Interview letter.

  16. Just wanted to let everyone know I got my approval from CSC today! I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!! I have been waiting for a little less than 9 months. Our NOA1 date was July 24.

I literally cried my eyes out when I got the text. (tears of joy).

I am completely convinced that this approval would't have come for a few more months if I didn't contact my senator. A few hours after my approval the senate's office called me to tell me that they contacted CSC on Monday and that my case was approved today. My advice to everyone, CONTACT YOUR SENATOR. It doesn't hurt to try. SO SO HAPPY!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone! <3

    Comgrats!

  17. Really? I'm getting conflicting reports some say wait until its "PAID" status. I should say pay soon, i'll just wait to be on the safe side. Do i need to wait for the DS3032 to be approved?

    Angkorthom,

The DS-3032 form does not need to be approved before sending the AOS (Affidavit of Suppport). However, the DS-230 (IV) package won't be sent to the agent (petitionner) without DS-3032 being accepted by the NVC.

  18. You don't need to wait for your AOS fee to appear as "paid." Go ahead and mail it. I sent mind as soon as I pay the fee. Don't forget to print a copy of your cover sheet.

The AOS Package will need to be sent to the address on the "Barcode Cover Page". Can you get the Document Cover Page without the AOS status shown PAID? If you dont have the barcode cover page, you are risking a delay in your case if the package does not reach the correct department. Did you mail the AOS package without paying the AOS fee?

  19. Wow, didn't know i could do it this way. So i would have to send 2 emails for each parent and from what email account? Should be from my parents email address? I'll try and follow the format and complete the email. I'll also send out the copies once i receive them as well. Email way requires no signature and is quicker. Thanks

DS-3032 Email format is always the quickest way to submit the choice of agent. I am not sure if you will need two (2) separate emails, unless each parent has a separate case numbers. Do not send the DS-3032 Email format from you email. It has to be sent from the beneficiary (parents) email. I know you can figure out how to get this done. My 64 yrs old mother does not know how to use the internet! So, my brother's email was used as beneficiary email account. This is how the DS-3032 was submitted to the NVC. Few days later, it was accepted.

  20. I will have to wait until the 23rd of this month to receive the DS-3032 from my cousin traveling back from Cambodia. Once i receive it i will mail it overnight. The mail system over there is not good so we have to do a lot of things this way. Should i wait to send DS-3230 in first before i send out the I-864/I864A packet? I have the packet here prepared and ready to send out as soon as the status changes to "paid". Once again thanks a lot for your help this has been quite a journey for me and the community has been such a big help. I went to a place where they wanted to charge me $900 for each applicant, which is out of my reach.

Instead of waiting for a signed DS-3032, you should do the email format and send to the NVC. See the link below for a sample Email format of DS-3032:

    http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

This process is a way quick for most people who has a problem with the mail system.

  21. Ok Thanks for the quick response, I did include 2012 forgot to mention, it was 2012,2011,2010. Ok i'll keep on checking for paid status. The signed Ds-3230 can be sent out later, correct? I'm getting them hand delivered to me this week because i had a cousin that was visiting the Cambodia and they will bring it back to me signed.

No problem... Do not wait too longer to send the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent). Once it's accepted by the NVC, you will receive the next step (IV Package). You won't move further until the DS-3032 is received and accepted. Some people have done email format of DS-3032.
