Hi SarahZeeshan
We already submitted the documents required by NVC. Now, we start to collect all the documents that verify the true marriage. For example: we can print out our chat log on yahoo, skype, email from both side, Phone bill or phone card, pics when you were together, money transfer proof if you send money to your spouse. proof is never more,so try to collect whatever you have and can collect. In case they ask you can show them lots of relations verification documents. You will definitely know if I got the interview date. Let me know if you read the good news in your email. Good luck ahead.

Dear Vjers,
Can you guess how many days it takes to scheduled the interview date after case finished at NVC? My case had been finished on 15th June and waiting for interview date. I talked with a friend from Nepal and he told me that it takes around 20-25 days to get the interview date. They will give us date approximately 1 month before actual date of interview. Do you guys have any experience? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

I am exactly in the same situation, what I was told by the embassy and what other vj members replied to my question - if a person is a non-indian citizen and lives abroad (outside of India) then indian police clearance certificate can not be issued
Hi,
Finally NVC told me that India never issued police report for foreigner and we don't need that. They were just suggesting me on email if I don't have police report.

Hey Torp,
Did you talk with Indian Embassy at your country? My wife talked with a person from Indian Embassy yesterday in her country and they told that it takes at least one month and some money too. It's really painful task. Let's see how every thing gonna run. Good luck ahead.

Hi,
My spouse completed her intermediate level in New Delhi about 8 years ago. Now, We need to submit Delhi police report to NVC. Could any Delhi guys help how we can take police report from New Delhi? I read some discussion on visajourney about police report processing for the local Indian people where the police ask for the at least 2 witness and process takes few days. Is there any rapid process for foreigner who lived for few years as college student? Do you guys think the clearance from Indian Embassy at Nepal work for that purpose? Any idea and suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks.

This is Genetic Checklist Email....Nothing wrong on your AOS and IV submission as of now... I would say: its NVC way to do things....If you have tracking number for your mail, check it to confirm that your package is delivered.
Generally, it takes 1-2 weeks to review and complete your CASE after NVC gets your documents.....
Thanks all for nice comment. I checked the tracking number and they already got papers. Good luck to all Vjers.

What I need to do ahead? I didn't understand the email fully. Any Vjers who understood the final part of email can explain me. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Hi Vjers,
I'm in almost final state at NVC. I need to move another apartment from 1st day of June. I think by this time, NVC will finish my case and send towards embassy. Do you guys think, it is essential to notify NVC about address change after forwarding the case towards embassy?

Hey friends,
I paid the AOS fees and my wife has sent DS3032 to NVC and they emailed her that now on wards all the documents will be send to your choice person's address. So, our AOS documents (me + my friend gonna help me as co-sponsor)is almost ready. My questions are:
1. Do I need to wait until AOF form from NVC receive in mail? or I can download the form online and send before get the mail from NVC.
2. My friend who will be co-sponsor for my wife, is living in maryland. Is it possible to send directly AOF as co-sponsor to NVC from him? Do you think it is better to collect my self and send together. Does it make difference if me and my friend send AOF separately to NVC? I know I need to send him cover page given by NVC to address/recognize the case.
Thank you in advance for your help.
-
hey Durgish,
Can you see the fee amount ($88) on your invoice page. If not then your Invoice is not ready yet. it might take upto 2-3 business day. when invoice is ready, just select the "pay selected fee" option, you should be fine.
navchusu11,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Finally, It was enabled yesterday evening as you suggested and paid. Now, waiting for another step.
-
give it another day or so for it to appear, and once it appears, pay it, and then give it another day for it to show as "paid" then send your AOS packet out.
Thanks for information.
-
I got NVC case number, choice of address and agent and AOS fee invoice yesterday. I make many attempts to pay the bill. I can sign in with my information but the page is not enable to pay. I talked with customer service representative yesterday night. He told me too wait until tomorrow. I'm trying to pay online several times today too but problem is same. Do you guys have any experience on that?
-
I didn't get it via email... I called them and found out. Should I get it via email?
It's same thing. It supposed to get first via email, then as paper letter. However you have visa number and other ID number, that gonna work for you. Good luck.
-
I just posted this on another thread - should have seen this first!
Yes, I've been waiting for over a month now... NOA2 was 23rd March... NVC "received" the file on 16th April but the operator said it may take 2-3 weeks to get a case number. That's slooooooooooooooowwww!!
I got NVC case number today on email. What's about you?
-
I got a reply from NVC last April 26 stating that:
We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.
I keep checking the payment portal but still the IV fee bill is not yet invoice. How long does it take to get invoice? I plan to wait this week, if still not invoice next week I send an email or call NVC to follow up. What do you think everyone?

Hi Friend,
Sorry for the mistake on above post.
I also got NVC case number along with Choice of address and agent and AOS processing fee bill today after more than 1 months of NOA2 in email. I tried to pay online for AOS fee but it is not active and there is no amount specified. I don't know how many days it takes to be in payable form. What was your experience?

Hi Dudes,
I got approval letter from USCIS on 27th March. I am waiting passionately for full 3 weeks. Now, 4th week started. I called NVC time to time but they always give the same answer: wait few more days. I just curious, if any of your USCIS approved case (about final week of March, 2012) has been entered into NVC. Just share your progress to make me more calm. Other wise it really hard and suffocating.......I wish no body need to wait like this....
-
Hi VJs,
Anyone got his/her I-130 approved recently within 5 months, please reply, i have just exceeded my 5 month mark and no result with CSC. Thanks
Yes, I was approved on 27th March @141 days. But not enter into NVC yet. It's really crazy work to wait long and long time. Hope fully your case gonna approve next week. This time USCIS is working really faster but NVC is sleeping. Good luck.
