I wasn't sure about #42 either, but ended up putting basically what you said. From what I've read, others have put similar answers and were just asked to explain the situation in more detail at the interview.

Well, many of us can not even think about our fiances being able to even visit once.........so it's hard to find sympathy. Nothing personal.
Those that do get denied obviously didn't show enough ties to return to satisfy the CBP.
Arinlars was looking for answers from someone who had been denied entry in the past. It happened to me, so I replied. I was trying to be helpful, not looking for sympathy.

204 days later... And we have finally been APPROVED! I'm so excited I don't even know what to do with myself!

I was denied entry last April in Toronto. I went to the ticketing counter and they got me on the earliest flight back at no charge. However, I was not reimbursed for my return flight scheduled a week later.

So just a random question... As I posted on the 19th, I got an email saying we were being sent an RFE in the mail. Today I got another email from USCIS that was the exact same, word for word. Except that it was dated the 21st.
Why two emails on two different dates? Is that normal?
-
At least you know they've taken a look at your file. Hope the RFE is an easy one. Good luck!!
Exactly! We weren't expecting to hear anything until after the holidays, so I was shocked when I saw I had an email from USCIS. Very anxious to see what it is, but like you said, hopefully something easy.

Not yet. The email didn't give any details, but hopefully he'll receive the notice in the mail by the end of the week so we can send them whatever they need ASAP.

We just got an email from USCIS about half an hour ago telling us that they're mailing us an RFE. It's not what we were hoping for, but after almost 6 months, we're just happy to have a response!

We are July filers and hoping to receive our NOA2 within the next two months. Today, my fiance (he is the petitioner) accepted a job offer with a different company than what is stated on our petition. Do we have to call and update this information, or can we just wait for our NOA2 since all of the information was correct at the time we filed?
Thanks.

I sent photocopies of the documents and brought the originals with me to the interview.
