My husband had his interview yesterday and passed!!! He will have his oath ceremony one week from tomorrow. Here is how it went:
We got there at 10:30, since our appointment was at 11:00. The security guards in OKC are very delightful and like to joke around. They took our ID's and appointment paper and had us go through the detectors. The security guard then asked me to slip the appointment paper into the slot at the window, and we had a seat in the waiting room. 30 minutes had passed and my husband was called back to his interview. There was no tv in the small waiting room and as soon as I decided to take a nap, he came walking out, asking if his oath ceremony date was a good date for us. We then high fived!!! I asked about his interview and he said she started with the writing test and then asked him the civics questions, followed by the questions on his application. She also did not look at any of the documents we had brought but did ask for his passport photos. It was the only thing we didn't bring because it wasn't stated on the appointment letter. She told him that he could bring them to the oath ceremony. She then asked which ceremony dates would be good for him and handed him a paper with the ceremony information and a questionnaire he has to fill out the day of the ceremony.
