  1. I just need a help on this:

I read from the flow chart that the embassy sends documents to the beneficiary with a date of interview already. But why is that others here in VJ says that you have to ask your manila case # and call the embassy to schedule an interview??

i am also confuse about the documents that the benificiary will receive, its says in flowchart here that the benificiary must complete the list and send some docs back to the embassy and bring other docs when going to interview, BUT Some here did not receive any documents..

I am really confuse.. My NOA2 is oct 3... And i dont know what to do next..

  2. Hello everyone,

How long does it take on average to get your package from Manila? We had our MNL# number for two weeks now and as well as interview date. Do they send it by regular mail or by Fed ex? Thanks for the input?

hi! how did you know your date for medical exam?

  3. No, it is not just you! I was going insane and so was my fiancee. Even knowing I had a week before reaching the 6 months mark, after 5, I was starting to unravel. I lost all motivation to do any of my daily obligations. Hang in there! I know you probably feel that it is so close you could taste it at this point, and it more than likely is!

I received the NOA2 letter today.

    NOA2 text: 10/10/12

    NOA2 letter: 10/15/12

They didn't waste any time getting it in the mail, and USPS was obviously on top of their game as well. Very fast to my surprise!

Hi! I got approved oct 3, we didnt get the hard copy of NOA2 yet :( anyways, do you have you manila case number already?

  4. Next you will need to get your MNL # from NVC.

Police clearance is for living in other COUNTRIES for 6 months or more. Read the embassy letter in the link I will include below.

When you go to get your NBI just tell them it for immigration to the United States.

St. Luke's will give you required vaccinations for travel to the United States, don't worry about your vaccination record from your local doctor.

Read the information below and in the provided links, click on the links and bookmark them.

    For the NVC:

Check on your embassy case number:

Give them 7 - 10 days before calling. Call after 4:45 PM eastern time for shorter wait times K1's are not tracked through the AVR, ever. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700 Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

    Press 1 for English

    Press 5 for an operator

    NVC CONTACT INFORMATION:

    Website: www.immigrantvisas.state.govwww.immigrantvisas.state.gov

E-mail: NVCInquiry@state.gov (I found NVC to be very quick responding to emails)

    REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

    * NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

    * Petitioner's name and date of birth.

( NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name and date of birth. )

    * Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

    Manila Embassy:

NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

(NOTE: When getting NSO certified copies of your Birth Certificate get 4 - 6 extra copies for bringing to the States with you. You will need them from time to time)

    http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

Once you have your MNL # :

You can pay your nonimmigrant visa application fee with cash or debit card at any Bank of Philippine Islands. Before going to the bank, you must print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip available below on this page. Take the printed deposit slip with you to pay your fee. If you print a deposit slip in advance of the day in which you plan to make your payment, please take note of the expiration date on the deposit slip. If the expiration date passes prior to using the slip to make your payment, simply return to this site and re-click the appropriate link below to generate a new deposit slip. Bank agents will NOT accept payments based on expired deposit slips. Upon receiving of your payment, bank will issue you a receipt. Save your receipt. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.

    http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp

Select the deposit slip that matches your visa application fee from the list below. Values are shown in U.S. dollars and native currency. This page has more information about the different visa application fees.

    http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

For K-1 the fee is $240

After you have paid the visa application fee, keep the BANK receipt for your records. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.

If you have an account with either Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) or BancNet you may choose to pay your visa application fee online using their online bill pay services. Click on either of the links below if you are a BPI or BancNet customer and wish to make an online payment.

If you are paying for more than one applicant, please DO NOT make a lump sum payment for all the applicants. A UID/receipt number is required for each visa application fee payment for EACH applicant for scheduling an appointment. After you have paid the visa application fee, please keep the fee receipt for your records.

    Receipt Format

Note: If you have a Bank of Philippine Islands receipt, your fee receipt number should be your passport number. If something other than your passport number appears in the circled area on the graphic, use that information as your receipt number. This receipt number verifies your payment and allows you to schedule your visa interview

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to use the receipt number as shown on the payment receipt from BPI.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other (maybe, they might mail the interview letter) for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

  5. You will have to get a police clearance if you live outside the Philippines for more than 6 or 9 mos. I guess... You don't need to get a police clearance in the Philippines, Nbi is more than enough.

It's ok if you don't have your vaccine records just tell them you don't have one, everybody unless they already have the vaccines will undergo vaccination it depends upon the doctor on duty... Like on my case I had four shots.

If you need any help do not hesitate to ask me.. :)

what shots did they give u?

  6. ur welcome and sorry for the typo above (In*)

did you print it all in short or long bond paper?

i had lots of pages.. i put into word... TOO MANY to send.. so i took a random sample from every month ..*12 months worth* and sent that in for Skype, Emails, Whatapp.. its probably more important to document WHEN you actually met in person.. in my opinion..

good luck in your journey! :)

did you print it in short or long bondpaper?

    * For my phone calls to him, I use Rebtel, and the phone records print out nicely from their website.

    * For his phone calls to me: they show up on the statements from my cell phone provider (Verizon), but the entire number doesn't show, nor the location from which the call originated. So what I have done is take a photo of the screen of my phone showing the call information (date, time, number, duration) for each call. I'm including an example page of a Verizon statement with several calls, and arrows showing which example photo represents which call. Then, the rest of the calls are just shown as photos, printed in neat rows. I doubt that the embassy will even look at this, though!

    * For his texts to me, I'm also using the photo technique, except that there isn't any gold standard, as nothing shows up on my Verizon statements except the # of international texts. So it will just be the photos.

    * For my texts to him, I usually send them through Gmail, so those are easy to print.

We've used FB chat a few times, but there doesn't seem to be a tidy way to print the chat history, given that Facebook displays your entire message history to the beginning of time. Any tips?

did you print it all in short or long bond paper?

  7. hello all!

for medical at saint lukes, Do i have to show my vaccination record since i was a kid? because it in my province and i dont think they can produce a copy for me. I am afraid that i will get injections during medical at st. lukes.

    PLEASE HELP ME. :help:

    :help:

  10. Congratulations! The next step is to call NVC about a week after the NOA2 date. You can get your case number. Being a US/Filipino case, once you have your case number, you can pay the visa application fee at BPI. Have passport and case number ready. After that, you can schedule the interview. Look at the link in my signature for the detailed instructions of what you will need to bring to the interview in Manila. Once you have the interview scheduled, arrange a time to take care of you medical, and don't forget, Filipino fiance/es must go through the CFO before they can get here(US). Continue reading the K-1 guide here as well.

Thanks a lot!! goodluck on your journey :)

  11. Wait 2-3 weeks, If you doesn't receive yet call the NVC ask your case number, if you get your case#...you can now start to pay your visa, after a day you cAn schedule your interview already through online,,,a week before your interview go for medical...You might get your hard copy or not, coz mine I didn't receive any hardcopy...Gudlack & Godbless!!!

how much did you pay for interview and medical? Did you pay it in dollars?

  12. Don't be worried, all it means is it's taking longer for approvals to come along.... Soon we will be the ones getting our NOA2..... I'm thinking another 2-4 weeks before We start seeing approvals..... Bleh but to me it seems like my fiance won't be here til the new year..... mad.gif oh blah, at this point i'm thinking of telling my fiance that we should just apply for my son and I to move to Australia... yes.gif

    You are right :)

send me a message once u get your NOA2... We have the same date of NOA1.. :)

  13. OK here is what you are suppose to do. Wait until 5 months and 1 day beyond your Priority Date called NOA#1. Call the USCIS and politely ask for a "Service Request for Beyond Normal Processing Time". Then they will ask you to wait up to 15 business days before calling them back. We got our NOA#2 about 10 business days later.

    Good Luck

    Mr Pangga

thank yous so much.. I will do your advice :)

  14. Don't worry about it. You have the tracking number. That means they have given you NOA1. NOA1 date is your priority date. Also, it should show you're on initial review, not interview.

Oh i see... Thank you so much for the information.

Where did you get the # you've used to track your case? The 1st letter you've received from USCIS was the NOA1 (I-747C) and it contained your Priority or Receipt Date and case # eg: WAC (for CSV) or EAC123456789 (correct me on this one VSC filers)

Our tracking number starts with EAC... ohhh i think thats the mail we received.. i think thats the NOA1.. i see.. now i understand.. thank you so much.

NOA1 means Notice of Action 1, or the first notice of action you've received from USCIS. The approval of your petition usually takes anywhere from three months to several more months depending on what additional documents they need from you. Once your petition is approved, the website should say that since you already know how to track it. By then, you'd receive an NOA2 (2nd Notice of Action) telling you you are either approved or denied.

Oh so I have to wait for several months more. I see.

  15. You should fix your timeline. You put down Texas but its either Vermont or California. If you went to Vermont you can expect your NOA2 to take about 5.5 - 6 months they are behind. I suggest changing that and it will give you an expected NOA2 date then call USCIS and ask them what is going on after the 5 month mark.

    Good luck!

thank you so much. I will have it fix. Maybe i will just wait til 5 months.
