(I know I've been MIA for awhile, here's the short story.... going to school full time, doing a field observation((kinda like student teaching)) and working full time, with three kids. Short answer is faith = exhaustion!)

just from experience..... i know you want that baby out.. i felt that way with each of my pregnancies. But trust me, if your baby isn't ready you don't want him out! I was induced with my first son and he was ok, but I had a hemmorage and almost died (my BP was 60/30). With my second son I had him on my due date (just went into labor) but he had to stay in the hospital longer than me because his lungs had fluid on them (just happens sometimes when babies aren't fully ready). I remember how much I cried and worried when I had to go home without him. With my third, I had to be induced a month early because I had pre-eclampsia so bad that my liver and kidneys were shutting down. They had to put bumpers on my hospital bed because I could stroke or seizure out at any moment. Anyway, Jake came out PURPLE. It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen in my life. To this day we still worry about him because of that one moment. (plus remembering the nurse beating him with this rubber gadget to get his color in and breathing normal). You don't want to have to live with that seriously. I know it sucks, but give the baby the time he needs.... some of them are just stubborn and do not want to come out!!!! Good luck!

Johnny and I decided that since we've gone thru immigration hell he is going to go ahead and apply for citizenship when he's eligible that way we don't have to deal with the ####### anymore.

The baby keeps me totally busy! Speaking of which, he just woke up from his morning nap. I swear, I am finding it harder and harder to get time to do anything I want to do! heheh actually I spent his whole nap working on my aunt's business' website this morning so it's my own fault. If you like candles, go check it out (www.cabindreamcandles.com) I designed the site for her, but the slowness is NOT my fault, she has a ####### server, I'm trying to convince her to change it.

aw, it is indeed a good day, when i see my metro-east private eye sister on vj..i missed you, sister faith, and am glad to see you going back to school...johnny still has the coolest job in illinois..and that youngster is as cute as a bug in a rug.....always your friend and brother dean
i missed you too brother dean! I'm not working at the private eye anymore... I had to quit because of my problems with my pregnancy with Jake and I never went back, so I'm teaching a few classes and basically being a stay at home mom. Johnny's working for Schwans now... Monster commerce laid him off 4 weeks after jake was born, but we love the schwan's gig... we get a good discount on the yummy food and Johnny really likes the job.

well spring break is over so things are back to normal in the house. We had a cold spell so the boys couldn't go outside and all they did was fight fight fight. It sucked. I get to go teach all three of my classes this week so that makes it even more normal for me.
Jake's napping right now so I had some free time and thought I'd pop in again. I swear, every day this boy gets into more and more stuff!!!

Ok, I hate Sanjaya. Can't stand him. He can't sing, his hair styles are horrible, and to me it seems like he's a little boy in daddy's clothes trying to be cool. He annoys me so much I almost can't watch the show. He is taking up space that someone much more deserving should have. I was so ticked that Gina went... she should have stayed and Sanjaya left. IMO
I like Blake. I think he's different and it's refreshing. Plus he can sing when he does straight melody songs and the beatboxing is cool at times
Jordan, Lakeisha ... like them both, think they are great.
Melinda is a great singer but something about her looks makes me cringe... she reminds me of tippy the turtle kinda with the no neck (
I know kinda petty, but I can't help it!)The others, I don't really care about. They don't stand out to me at all. I'm still totally bummed Gina left because I think she could have gone far.
And don't underestimate Simon. The man did the teletubbies for crying out loud. And produced an album with wrestlers singing because it would sell lots of albums. I think he'd stay on even if Sanjaya won (I hate even saying that because it soooo can't happen!!!!) However, I may not keep watching it.
Does anyone think that those websites out there that are promoting who they think is the worst singer (Sanjaya) to win have anything to do with the results? Are they voting enough to matter? For those who don't know, those websites try to get the WORST singer to win to sabotage the show.

I've been away because for a long time there I had snatches of time to get online because Jake is a holy terror! First before he was mobil he wanted to be held all the time, and now that he's mobil I have to gate him in the living room and still watch him closely because he gets into everything! He's a climber as well. Sometimes I swear I'm losing my mind!
I'm trying to be a good girl and pop in everyday from now on
I'm going back to school full time in the fall so we'll see how that goes

hey guys, I know it's been a while since I've been able to post since I've been on bedrest, but wanted you all to know that they induced me Thursday and we had our little miracle boy. I was 37 weeks pregnant, which is early, but it was needed as I had developed pre-eclampsia and that created some potentially serious complications.

We're both home from the hospital now, and we're doing well. I'm still on some meds and need more monitoring, but I (think!) we're out of the woods now as far as danger is concerned.

I don't think anyone should come down on the OP for being "embarrassed" or wanting to hide behind a new screen name. For those of us who have children, please tell me if there is a single one of us who can honestly say that our kids haven't done something that has hurt us, embarrassed us, or caused us to say in a rather sarcastic way "I'm so proud". (It can be a big or small things guys, but think about it.) Obviously this issue is troubling the mom a whole lot.
I have no problems with gays/lesbians, however, I do believe that if either of my children ever revealed they were gay I would probably go thru a period of shock, embarrassment, and deep disapointment because it's not the life I want for them. The key is to get THROUGH that period and move on. It sounds like mom is still in the denial and shock and embarrassment stage, which is a healthy stage to be in as long as she MOVES ON.
As far as the whispering and rumors go. If Mom is concerned about her younger daughter and the effect this will have on her, I can understand that. I live in a small town. I know the attitudes. If the family is labeled life can be hell for the rest of the family. PLUS my concern is how much is this older daughter hanging out with the younger daughter and her friends. That alone is an issue to look at. She's not going to "turn" anyone gay, but should 20 year olds be hanging out with 14 year olds??
I think mom needs to have a serious talk with her daughter (s) she needs to express how she feels and give the girls the chance to express their feelings. They need to work together as a family.
I think if you re-read her opening post and substitute all the gay stuff with just the ages of the kdis and the other issues, you'll see some valid concerns there.
*shrugs* that's just my opinion tho....
Good luck to you and I hope that you and your family can straighten everything out so that you can accept your daughters for who they are, no matter what!!!

I have a quick question. I put my husband's case on this list a while back when we filed. I see that someone did some alterations to it (first said > CSC near where we sent it originally to NSC.) Now on the side it says >VSC and a date. Is someone checking on these cases? If so, how? I mean, we check it online with our receipt number, but if you don't have that number how do know what is going on with it? Or is someone writing in the wrong space??? Just curious!
