does anyone know or have experience coming to US with tourist visa while immigrant visa still on administrative processing? well, I went to interview on Oct.24 and CO gave me white slip that my visa was approved but it might take longer time to get the visa. I have tourist visa valid for 5 years and I plan to use it during thanksgiving and christmas. will I get a problems? thanks for your comments!

..actually you don't really know the answer until you experience yourself 
..there are 2 different answers (>_<) .. but from what i've read on the forum,i've found out that some people have had experienced on using tourist visa while their case is under AP . They didn't have any problems and they can travel to the US ...Good Luck Mba Uma and have a fun h...

Ughhhhh delay after delay after misunderstanding after delay. Sometimes I wonder WHY I even bother. Well I guess I will just read through my 1100 pieces of VJ mail. So sad and disappointed right now. Another flippin month of NVC. Sorry can't fake my disappoinment. I am utterly sad! I need wine and Ice Cream.

visa got pending from Administation Processing but 3 days later she came back to the embassy to find out about what happened to her visa and the lady on window 5 told her that she needs to wait for 30 days to get the visa..i've joined KPIA ( Komunitas Perkawinan Indonesians-Americans) group on facebook and i've read there was someone had the same problem but she was on K1 visa..her visa got AP too..but her fiance contacted congressman and after they got in touch with congressman, the...

oh sorry for what happened
..once it goes to AP nothing you can do but wait.you can't enter the US using tourist visa as far as i know..i'm not sure but you can call the US Embassy and You can call the Congressman and ask for a help..you got a white slip and you were supposed to get visa in 3 days ..one of my friend has the same problem..on the interview she got a white slip and got approved..but a couple of hours later, she received an e-mail from the Embassy and informed that her...

We got an update by NVC that our file has left for Jakarta embassy. Things are really moving so fast after NOA2.

We are so excited! We received our NOA2 via email! So nice to know that our petition has been "approved"!

Just got my two emails and just paid my AOS. I am so happy to have paid $88 I don;t know what to do. I though cover sheet wasnt available until it said PAID well I was so wrong. But I want my rubber stamp oh well this is going out tomorrow. stamp be damned. i can write my case number everywhere. Very Happy. Now wonder what husband is doing on his end. It's like Nigeria network shut down. Haters ;-)

i think your hubby will get his interview in October or an early November
..well it depends on the embassy i've heard the US Embassy in Lagos is pretty though ..but i'm sure your hubby can get through the whole interview ..i have to wait for 2-3 weeks to get the interview date waiting and waiting >.<
