Congratulations!

Ok we got apprroved on March 27. I spoke to the NVC a week or so later and they said she was in the system. A couple of days ago I get an email from the USCIS giving us a MNL# and telling me that the NVC is handling it now. According to the email, it was sent becaause of a earlier request I made prior to getting the approval.

Now my question..... What significance does the MNL# have? Does the generation of that number mean the package has been sent to the Philippines? Any information or advice you guys could give would be great....

I know the feeling of wanting this to hurry up. We turned our 's in 10/17 and still waiting. I'm hoping to hear something before I leave for the Philippines on the 4th . It would be nice to travel with great news!!!!

I did the same thing today. Contacted my Senator asking for some help and also made a service request.... Hopefully it works. Been waiting over 5 months with no response at all.

It'snow been over 5 months from the time we turned in our application to VSC. Icalled USCIS this morning and made a Service Request to find out what the dealis. She said that if I do not hear anything from them in 15 days to call back.Is this a normal event or am I just being paranoid?????

Just an FYI

I spoke to an advisor at the 800 number provided on the USICS website. She said that the Vermont Services Center is currently processing all applications received October 16,2011. Mile was received October 17,2011.

I'm sweating bullets. I'm going to the Philippines in a couple of weeks and would love to celibrate good news!!!!!!!

Were now over 5 months waiting for the approval from the Vermont Service Center. Is anyone else having the same experience or have heard any reason for the slow service???

Well, Ailenn and I have been witing now for 5 months and still no word. I'm begining to wonder what the deal is. I see that most everyone that had their I-129 turned into Vermont in October has gotten their NOA2. I called and all they can tell me is that it is processing. We had everything they requested and plenty of proof of the ongoing relationship. .

I hope the Vermont Service Center hurrys up!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're at 143 days and still no word. I'm about to go nuts waiting for the approval.

I've noticed that quite a few couples that turned their K1 package to the Vermont Service Center about the same time we did have received their NOA2. I understood that the packages are proceessed in the order they're received anyone have any insight to the process at the service centers??? I haven't been asked for any requests for information and follow up on the Immagration's main website.

At least you can skype on a regular basis. I only get Skype like once every other week with my fiancee, and even then it's with really bad video quality.

We SKYPE every day twice a day for two to three hours at a time. We've done that for the last 1 1/2 years. We've never actually never run out of things to talk about. We're very lucky

I think we finally figured out how to cope with the waiting..... Ailenn an I now are placing a bet on who can get closer to the date of approval. If she wins I will have to eat a 21 day balot... She has been trying to get me to eat one for a year and a half. If I win she has to eat a jalapino pepper...raw!!

If it would get the approval quicker, I'd eat two balot even if they're chirping..

We're 135 days in since NOA1 and I'm about go nuts waiting...Thank GOD for SKYPE.
