Met my guy in 2005 while he was working in the states on a B1. Eventually he rec'd an H1B so we moved in together. Then the economy tanked here so he found a job in the UK, our plan at that time was for him to get settled there, then we'd file paperwork for us to marry & live over there. Well - the economy tanked over there so he lost that job and we were both living at home w/our parents in separate countries. Now - three years later - he proposed ! We're ready to be together & live in CA for a while. Just sent the I129F in yesterday and my nerves are already shattered ! ! But we've been together seven years, what's a few more months.....This website is a bit confusing but helpful nonetheless...
