medical completed today!!! interview on 21st may!!

hey my interview date is the same,i am also verry uneasy about mine, but all i can say is goodluck;-)

does anyone know lately how long its taking after your interview in trinidad when you receive your visa back????

Just got off the phone with DOS. A very nice lady (I missed her name, as usual) said I'm good to go at NVC... they're just waiting on the next available interview date in Kingston.

TRINIDAD US EMBASSY ADVISES THAT THE PETIONER DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THERE FOR THE INTERVIEW!!!!!

I CALLED AND ASKED, ALSO I KNOW PERSONS WHO DID THIS PROCESS AND THEY DID NOT HAVE TO CARRY THE PETIONER..OK

Silly people I much prefer people who fill out their timelines completely Not only does it feel good to put in dates, but it really helps out others!

You can always try whispering all of them and see what they say...

Well, it does happen. Very often in MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries. In some of those places, AP is mandatory for background checks. Now, for Trinidad, I don't know. You'd have to look at fellow timeline's to get an idea. For Canada, excluding those born in MENA countries that are put through background checks, it's extremely rare to be put into AP.

Thanks so much, i tried going through trinidad's portal, but rarely trinis do their timeline so im curious..

congrats my dear, yes this journey is long and bumpy at times, but SO worth it in the end i can imagine, i still have to go through interview stage etc, but i cant wait

Of course it's the same day as my Masters graduation. So now I need to decide if I should skip graduation to go down for the interview. Any suggestions? How important is it to be at the interview?

waw ALOT OFF INTERVIEWS!!! guys im so happi for you allllllll!! i can imagine the relief in your hearts, how i look forward to that feeling;-(

when you get your NOA2 or approval, USCIS sends the case to the NVC(NATIONAL VISA CENTER) they assign you with a case number,invoice identification number and beneficiary number. then you have to make some payments AOS I-846 which is done by your spouse. & IV. you have to send in your choice of agent also which is DS3032, YOU have to send in your DS-230 which is after you pay your IV bill. after this you send your ds-230 to the NVC. they give you case complete. and then you wait for an interview date. now its taking up to 20 days to get a case number, so you are looking at a 1 an a half- 2 month process again. and then Interview takes sum time also. goodluck

ARGH! called NVC for interview date, was told it is too soon to tell, Embassy has to schedule one then i would be avle to know, and they dont know when i can call back to find out!!! soo disheartning :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

this is taking so much from me, my sleep.piece of mind, mental balance,physically drainig. the only one and thing that has me going is my husband!!

For all my fellow VJ Friends out there waiting for an Interview date please do not lose faith ... I admit that patience is a virtue and it's easier said than done but your turn will come sooner than later ... praying for all you

In most Trinidad cases the interview was 2 mths after the Case Complete. There is a person on my firend list you can look at their timeline or ask them a question

waw spent half hr on the line waiting to speak with someone in NVC to ask about interview date, jus hang up!! guess they are haveing a verry busy day!!

i got case complete friday, how long would i have to wait for an interview date? im from trinidad
