I was wrong, you can transfer. I was also thinking about transferring my husband's case and a few days ago I emailed the embassy in Yemen. They said they are willing to transfer it if NVC agrees and that NVC has to contact them directly about transferring. It is possible, but it's costly and very risky. Where do you want to transfer to?

You cannot transfer your case until it reaches Sana'a. NVC doesn't send your case to Sana'a until an appointment is available.

I thought transferring was my out of waiting a year- 1 year & a half for an interview but apparently not.
