Finally received SS card after a 2 month wait.

Hey guys thanks for the congrats. @Dana i went to the ss office in nov. I heard nothing so i called and they said i would have to go in person once again. At the office they took the receipt they had gave me in nov. They got the file and verified the info. in other words the paperwork was sitting there all this time waiting to get verified. We received the card in the mail 6 days later.

Biometrcis letter arrived on Monday the 31st!!! Appointment on the 17th of january!! moving like quick sand over here... Hope it Continues all the way through.... Happy New Years Everyone!

So, as we all go through this journey and hope for the ordeal to finish. We have a few things that are almost never spoken about. Let's say: Adjusting, in the US with your new family? Issues that may arise about your significant others way of thinking about the US and his life in Dominican Republic. Any of you have some things to say about this. Because we all know it's not candy canes and sugar lolipops as all situation in life are.
