  1. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  2. Thanks for writing back...yeah, in a funny way, it's easier now that I have accepted that all this will take a long time. Trying to view it positively as my last single days and I keep reminding him this is his last shot at being a bachelor so he'd better get singlehood out of his system for good LOL. Thanks for your good wishes and best wishes to you too!

  3. Hope you guys are hanging in there..sure is a loooooooong wait but every day brings us closer :-)

  4. I think your advice is valid. It is very important to spend real time with someone for a significant amount of time before committing oneself to marriage. I am thankful I got that 8 months of day to day living time with my fiance, I know his worst side and he knows mine, we know what we are signing up for. I'm sorry you didn't get such a chance and it hasn't worked out.

  5. Oh cool...it's not too early to start praying you don't end up with that your fiance doesn't end up with that blonde woman who gives everyone such a terrible time at the embassy! Hope everything goes well for you guys. Sadly, I think I might get an RFE :-( We sent flight itineraries and forgot passport stamps :-( so they might ask for further evidence to prove our time together.

  6. well, if I was to get NOA2 in 147 days, then I have exactly 100 days to go today. With any luck, it will be less than that.

  7. Celebrating 1 and a half years since my fiance and I met online, still the best day of my life :-)...my second best day will probably be getting that visa that is keeping us apart.

  8. Seriously, what is the secret to a one-month approval? :-) Congratulations! Please pass on the good luck.

  9. I don't get why VSC is so much faster than CSC? Can't believe the gap between them. CSC has about 65% of the October petitions done and VSC has about 65% of the November petitions done. I know VJers are just a drop in the ocean in comparison to the number of total applicants but still reflects that VSC is way faster right now. Wake up CSC!!!

VSC is a million times slower for ROC petitions.

Ah, okay, so just depends I guess...sorry about that. In an ideal world, each center would be swift, here's wishing...

  10. This is incredible, congratulations! Could you be more specific about what you mean by solid evidence? Might help me further down the road with the embassy, there must have been something about your case that was so open and shut, they didn't even need the 3 or 4 month that a few are lucky to get quickly processed in. One month! Wow, you lucky dogs, may you have a smooth rest of the...

  11. I envy all of you who at least have NOA2...how did you survive the wait???

  12. Hi Rasta, please write to someone on here called meigo...she knows more about all this than I do. I am at the very early stage of this process and can't really help. meigo recently had her interview done. You can also look at embassy info to learn more about things. All the best!

  13. Hi, I'm just at the beginning of this process, I have to say I am so happy for you but so curious, how did you make it from NOA1 to NOA2 so fast? I hope your luck rubs off on us.:-)
