Hello. I had an annulment and it took one year and three months. We paid an atty. 200 k pesos (package deal)When the decision was there,he asked for another 30 k pesos. I wont recommend that greedy atty. You better visit Guzman Tanedo & Acain (Makati City) online. You can read the annulment procedures , address and contact number of an atty.By the way,where is your fiancee lives here? Many atty are bargaining their services for a lot of money. I'm the beneficiary and im annulled now waiting for noa2 (k1). My fiance filed the petition with my married name in my passport (x husband last name) and will be expiring this coming May 2013. My question is, if i will renew my passport should it be remain with x husband name or should i revert back to my maiden name? what are the possible problem i will encounter if i revert back to my maiden name? My fiance get mad on me cos im still using my x husband name and he want it to revert back my maiden name.

hello,your fiance has reason to get mad because you are still using your ex surname. I will remind you, the first requirement for K-1 is ..you are free to marry him. Be ready your supporting papers once you receive an RFE. Good luck to your journey.

During his 4th visit (January 2013)he bought flowers and composed poem on-the-spot and put them on bed. love it..I tried to compose too but it ended up in copying from free poem online For me,my time is best I can give because I'm giving him something I can never get back.My wish..(as best present he can give)is to sing love songs instead of composing,hehe. the OP can actually ask st.lukes nurses. They give answers. My fiancee asked them many questions after she was told about the sputum exam. And they clearly explained to her the process.. The staff nurses in 4th floor are the one who are giving explanation. I, the petitioner even called them and asked about the process., they explained everything to me over the phone.

Hi..when I requested NSO for my bc ( college requirement),it was negative. I reported and showed NSO negative result to our LCR . I filed late BC registration,that was they wished me to do. After a month,I requested again from NSO and I got it and used it for many years. Until last year when I requested 7 copies of my bc,they issued me differ bc, they said it was my first and original bc. I went to NSO legal assistance and she told me to hire an atty to cancel first bc coz late bc registered is what I am using till present. Two bc have same correct names but differ birth dates. WE paid atty 30 k on Oct. and after she presented it in court last December,she asked again additional 7 k for court employees. January is court inventory,so I follow-up this February for the decision. Pray for our journey..salamat po.

The child can use his father's surname, even though he's illegitimate.

Mom should go to the Local Civil Registry where the child's BC is recorded and have her name corrected. Just bring a valid CENOMAR as proof she was never married to the bio father.

It should also be stated in the child's BC that the parents were NOT MARRIED at the time of the child's birth.

Update: I called the Philippine Consulate and they do not think it is a major problem!!! The big thing is that her name and date of birth are correct. She said that if we want then Joan can have her parents write a statement saying that there is a discrepancy and that she was a single birth and have it notarized!

Update: We got approved on our interview Jan.28,2013. The date when the judge made decision is the effective date for the process not the date when the certificate of finality and NSO annotated certificate of marriage are completed. Thank you all and God Bless.

Congratulations. If I only knew this a little earlier I received my annulment decision July 2012,waited for certificate of finality and nso annotated certificate for one month. We filed 1-129f on September,2012...we wasted time.. it's okey,hope others learned from it. God bless us.

Your ex is the one who claimed psychological incapacitation? If so, it's likely you will not have to undergo a psych evaluation or a psych test.

I thought that the custodial parent had to get a signed letter from the other biological parent to legally leave the country.

He can always prove he's the father with a DNA test.

You do not need anything from your EX "pindejo" ..... NOTHING, NA-DA, ZIP! In essence complete the process as if he doesn't exist as nothing is required or requested from him.

Now I would suggest bringing a copy of your anullment to SLEC during the medical and expect to be required to have an psychological exam.

Hello,vj's..happy New Year. I would rather called ex "pindejo" caused he was really idiot,stupid,engot.etc. Sorry for the terms..I am already annulled on ground of psychological incapacity. And in documents indicated the custody of my minor child,who is 6 yrs old, shall remains with the custody and care of me,as mom. I am thinking of asking ex for his permission to let kid to go with me. The problem is this..since my atty. knew ex didnt use his real first name in his identification cards and other documents,( which is another issue ..falsification of public docs. and needs lot of money to pay) How can he show/prove he is really the biological father of my kid because he uses differ name than one indicated in kid's birth certificate? Next question,during interview, is notarized consent letter of biological father enough to present? Your responds are really be needed and appreciated specially those who have same situations..please,kindly help me. thank you and happy new year.
