I'm Polish - I understand your pain.
How old is your mother in law? Some mother-in-laws are 50 and they really seam as potential immigrants.
You know what sometimes helps: if you are planning a Christening, it helps when she brings not an invitation to a party (everybody can get that) but a letter from the priest on the official church letterhead. I know that you want her there sooner, but hey - nobody forbids you from having a ceremony a month after the baby is born, and obviouly she needs to arive sooner etc.
Alo you can contact your congressman, sometimes letters from him help - they really do - especially in cases like further family, not your significant other.
I hope you can get her here.
Where did she apply at? Krakow or Warszawa?

Hey,
I received NOA1 in the mail today with a date of February 24, 2012 - so I guess this bumps me up a week - just 4 days but always something...

Hey Guys,
I was AMAZED how some got their approvals only after 30+ days from California.
Do you think we will have the same luck???

I prefer a written guide.
If I would watch a video, I would have to write down everything that is required to send within the packet - so why double the material already available to us?
Buy hey - if that's the way you like it, go ahead and post some videos - I will definately watch them.
Maybe there are people here who'd prefer a visual
Good Luck

Congrats on getting your NOA1
Hope the whole process goes fast for you
Thank You

Looks like from your signature block that you got it. Congrats.
YUP! Got it last night finally
Thanks, Maggie

They don't care about your teeth - if they're bad - there is no way your fiance will be denied a K1 visa.
She should care for her own health - this will not affect your case.

Does the beneficiary need to have his/her tax transcript during the interview or they need only that from petitioner?
Thanks,
-Kidist
Only the petitioner - the petitioner needs to prove that he/she has sufficient means to support the beneficiary.

HI I'm a newbie here. How are you doing folks?<I am just confused with the forms.I've seen I-129F forms and G-325A and at the right upper corner of it there is an expiration date.
My Questions is?
1.Will it be fine to use those forms to file? let say the form expiration date says 02-29-12 if we are planning to file 3rd week of April 2012.Should we use forms that will not be expired before filling?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
My Fiance is a Us Citizen busy at work so I am the one who is doing the research and we will be filling out the forms when he is here again in the Philippines on 1st week of April with me for the 3rd time.
Ill be asking more questions in the future I just want to say thanks in advance to those who will be patient answering my questions.
Have a Blessed Day!
I would recommend filing NOW - not waiting (it's a very long journey, and the sooner the better), but of you insist on waiting, just gather all the required dosuments (I don't think they will change) and just wait for the new form - which should become available much sooner than your planned filing date.
Good Luck

Welcome aboard!
I hope your process will go a lot smoother than mine - I'm still waiting for NOA1 - I don't even want to know how will the wait for the NOA2 be....
Good Luck

Did you mail it to the Dallas lockbox or somewhere else?
OF COURSE I mailed it to the Dallas Lockbox - I've read all the instructions and guides like 15 times - I got a confirmation from USPS but not email/text hard copy - nothing! And it's been 10 since mailing and 2 business days since they received it - This is killing me - just my luck...
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................

We are almost in the same shoes. Aaron sent it on the 18th of the same month and still nothing. It was delivered on 21st and a few days ago we got an email telling us that it has been forwarded to California Service Center.
Yes, but you got an email - I got nothing
No confirmation - where is it???
-
This sucks!!!
I mailed my I-129F February 17 and still no NOA1 - no text, no email, no check cashed, but it was delivered Febrary 22nd.
Why is this happening???

Well, for those who saw my post earlier this week and all of the drama.....he decided last night that he wasn't in love with me anymore and didn't want to be with me. He left my house and returned today with police to get his things. There's a ton of ugliness in between last nght and now that happened but emotionally, I can't relive that right now so I'll omit that. But I will say that it was discovered he was in fact using me for the visa and this entire marriage was a lie, for him. My heart is broken but I know this is for the better. I called ICE and filed my fraud complaint and will follow through with the remaining steps.
I guess that the breaking point was when he had his friend confront me and tell me that I'm a crazy ###### if I thought any Dominican man would love an ugly gringa like me. And that he got what he wanted, the visa, so it was best to leave him alone now.
The rest of my day consisted of an overwhelming amount of messages and emails from his family offering money not to report him. Smh.
I know I'm crazy but I still love him. It absolutely kills me that he's done this and that I have to second guess all of the beautiful moments we had together. I may never get the answers I want but I'll have peace and that's most important.
I want to thank everyone so much for all of their advice while I've been on here. This is an amazing site.
My journey ends here ......
OMG -DO NOT let him get away with this. I hope they will deport his stupid ####. I followed your story about how "home-sick" he was after 5 days, him going out with his friend all the time, him wanting the newest i-phone - it all made me sick to my stomach - and now its even worst - I am really sorry, YOU deserve better - I would follow through with the fraud thing, PLUS make him repay all the fees you had to pay, plus punitive damages - you are worth much more than that - what the hell was he thinking? does he really think that he can stay here after doing all that to you and admitting to fraud??? and what on earth was his friend thinking - so not cool... no class...
I know nothing we will say will make you feel better, but what should make you feel better - is that you have a WHOLE ARMY of VJ friends that are there for you - whenever you need to talk - not everybody has that.
Be strong, be optimistic, be you - and when enough time passes - you will be in love again and all this will not matter.

Hello,
My name is Maggie and I am the petitioner.
My boyfriend is Mateusz and he lives in Krakow, Poland.
Fuuny thing is that in my mind I have miilions of scenarios of what I will show him first, how the first day of his arrival will be, but knowing life I can plan one thing and another will happen
"If you wanna make God laugh - tell him about your plans" - so true
GOOD LUCK FAB FILERS

You have to include proof that you two have met - not proof of ongoing relationship.
Skype logs, emails, letters are for the later stage - the interview.
Now you need to include copies of stamps in your passport, boarding passes, that travel agency bill, hotel receipts etc.
Good Luck
-
Hey Feb. (FAB) Filers
I followed all your timelines - hopefully things move fast for us.
I read in some posts about all the pages you guys submitted - those are required for the proof of ongoing relationship, which is required at the interview not with the I-129F packet - but I guess it's called "front-loading" and it doesn't hurt, but is not required.
I wish us all patience in waiting and good luck
-
Do you have boarding passes from that trip?
Maybe hotel receipts?
Best of Luck

The problem is that it's much more than $10k and she has to send it all before she leaves her country.
If it's much more then $10K it is not a problem
Like others said before - call your bank - banks are very happy when people deposit money

Happy Happy Joy Joy. Isa and Isabella just received their 10 year Green Cards in the mail today.
It took about 5 months for those who are wondering, now we just need to go to Chicago to get their passports updated before our trip to Peru in June. Good luck to all and hang in there.
I am happy for you
Congrats !!!

The same thing happened to me! The first delivery notice was posted at 10pm on Monday (a Federal holiday), which made me wonder a little: did they really think anyone would take delivery of a package then? But then the next day it showed up as delivered. Now I'm just waiting for them to let me know that they realize they have it...
Hello, I noticed that you've sent your I-129F a day after me. We are on the same boat - I followed your timeline
Hope things move fast for us- good luck
