We first on Match.com April 2011 and got to know each other over the next 6 months using yahoo IM and Skype, before we met in Beijing November of 2011. Once we saw each other at the Beijing airport we knew that our feelings were correct and we were meant for each to spend our lives together.
We enjoyed the next two weeks seeing all we could around Beijing and learned as must as possible about each other.
On Thankgiving day I asked Hanjun to be my wife and was so happy when she said yes with that huge smile on her face.
The first of May I returned to China to visit and meet the whole family (we have met and talked on skype but never face to face). What an exciting time and it was so wonderful feeling so welcome by everyone in her family. I can tell this time will again pass all to fast and it will be too soon when I must return to th states without her again. Now I also see California center is slowing donw on their time lines so it looks like we will have to start planning new wedding plans/dates what a drag not knowing what our goverment will do or how fast they will decide to do it.
May 29th finally NOA2 approval. Finally have a case number as of June 29th so we are again moving forward.
No word from NVC after the 15 day wait period so started calling daily even though always being told Not in the file. Finally day 20 have consulante number and told being shipped to consulante on July 3rd. Waited 5 days and still No word from Guangzhou about receiving paperwork so wrote to email address. Quick responce (1day) and said they had not received it another 3 days repeated email step again Not received but the next day another email and it was magically there. Waited a few days and sent another email asking when packet 3 would be sent same routine "we are not sure when this will be entered into our system and a packet will be sent" the next day eamil approval to send in DS-230 & OF-169 via EMS.
Received notice packet 3 arrived Guangzhou on 7/9. No packet 4 email on 7/16 so email again repeat of usual "we dont know" eamil responce followed in 2 days with the interview day email.
After 227 days we were approved and as soon as she can figure out her early retirement in China she will finally be joining me in Washington..YEA!!
hey, may i consult you one thing? just want to be sure about the document that i have. About the Birth Certificate, Police Report, Unmarried Certificate, i have both of them translated in english and certificated at China District Notary Office(地方市级公证处）, is it ok?
