Hey guys...

Well, no easy way to say this but.. Fiance doesn't want to get married anymore. He said he is not ready and tons of stuff like that... He is scared of the thought that it might not work out in the end.

I am barely holding it together, but I just wanted to get some advice. What will happen if I cancel the interview? Where do I stand? Will I be able to schedule another one some day IF anything changes or?

They gave me an interview date 3 weeks from the day I called =( All because we have a new ambassador coming. And 3 weeks for Bulgaria is a long time. All the rest of the girls before me got dates 3 days after the phone call.. And 3 weeks for me ...

On top of everything else, fiance is getting cold feet because we haven't seen each other for 8 months.. I don't know what to do.. Stupid USCIS, stupid NVC, stupid everything..

Actually, a second letter of intent is not required by all embassies. If it is not on the list sent to you by the US Embassy, it is not outstanding.

L + T, I've never heard of something like that.. I have to check.

And as to the phrase to be added to the translations - isn't this for the petition only and not the interview?

So I finally started translating all my documents for the interview.

On the letter from the embassy they stated that the docs have to be translated only, they do not need them legalized.

However, I was wondering if on a later stage a legalized translated copy of my Birth Certificate will be needed?

My problem is that if it is needed, I will have to get a new BC which will take forever, as mine is "too old to be legalized" =/

Help, please

Does the letter come by snail mail or will they email it?

The Bulgarian Embassy sends the letter via post too.. It took me 5 working days to receive it. (I called the embassy - they told me they sent it 5 days ago. I freaked out. Immediately after I hung up the phone my mother texted me that the letter had arrived )

But UPS -> USA - Bulgaria is taking forever!

That is a good question. We are only in the beginning of our journey and it is taking me forever to go back to US. I wonder if this will affect our relationship at some point.

It would be really nice to hear someone's experience on this.

Hey guys! Finally got the famous letter from the Embassy last Thursday, however UPS got [somehow] my address wrong and Tim's documents will be here this Thursday the soonest :@ I am going crazy.. I can't call for an interview date before I have everything.. I thought I will be going to an interview this week

I know it sounds silly.. But even if it is a week, it is still waiting and I have done enough of it..

Vermont has finally started doing their job.. Kind of..

He just called me in 3 a.m. /Bulgarian time/ on a Sunday/ Monday morning. I could not believe it! So happy! It was about time!

It hurts so much All of our plans and dreams are on hold till further notice. We won't even have a wedding this year. By the time I am back home to him we would have spent 1 year apart and 2 weeks together.

They should really fix this system.. It's heartbreaking for all of us..

They simply don't care... I don't think there is a point doing whatever. We contacted a congressman, filed a service request, called - and one big NOTHING yet...

I bet all they do is put a comment in their data base - 'petitioner asked for an update'... if even this..

When CSC is doing so well, approving people for LESS THAN 90 days (?!?!?!?!?) why can't they just send few thousand applications from VSC to CSC?!?!?!??

It's ridiculous! People with my NOA1 date are already in the US...

I haven't seen my fiance since January.. I just wanna call them and scream in the phone..

I have had all the nightmares already - RFE, denied, approved in 1 year.. And of course approved.. Every night different scenario... :X
