    Getting SSN for K1 before or after married?

    Hi Guys,

    To all who got their SSN in Utah state did you guys married first before getting your SSN without any issues or get SSN first before getting married? Im going to get married June 9 and my I-194 expires on July. I wanted to get SSN after getting married but i dunno if that will have an issue or something. I need advice to those who got their SSN in Utah state.

    Hello Guys,

    I have just one simple questions i need answer from those of you who are living with the in laws.

    What are the things i should expect when living with the in laws? I am just waiting for my visa,i'll fly to the USA in Utah this Month. I'm a lilttle unhappy and nervous I know i don't like it but i have no choice. I love my future Husband so much but we cant afford to get our own place just yet...Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated

    Priority date is the date when they received your K1 petition its in your NOA1. I did schedule my interview online all you need is your fiance passport number because it is the receipt number when you pay the visa fee and you also need her passport issuance and expiration....hope that helps.

    what the heck is that Priority date really is? Guys do tell us what is Priority date

    When I try to register, there is a question that state: Priority date. What is the priority date ? Also Is the case ID the case number?

    Priority date is the date you chose for your interview ,but it doesnt mean its gonna the be the date for you because u need to see the available dates and see if your priority date is one of them. I believe the case id is the MNL case number if im not mistaken :unsure:

    Has any of you Guys scheduled your Interview date Online without having pay the visa fee yet? Im really itching to set my interview date rightnow but i thought i might have to wait till Monday to pay my visa fee first before doing so, but someone on here has said he has successfully set his Fiancee's interview online without paying the visa Fee first...

    But anyway i think im going to try it rightnow ^_^

    I don't think so. My fiancee was from the Philippines and we scheculed the Interview, she did the medical and then paid for her VISA fee before going tot he actual interview. I was with her at the interview so I know what I am talking about. Provide proof I am wrong or else don't comment any further. What I am saying is from experience because of course, I am the one who sent her the money for medical, VISA fees, etc.... They also don't take her passport until she goes to the medical. So she can schedule the interview, she will get an e-mail from the Embassy confirming her interview and it will include what the VISA fee, she can then pay the VISA fee and then go do her medical. At the point of the medical that is when her passprt is taken.

    Sorry just need to clarify " your Fiancee or Ex fiancee or ex wife" ? bcoz based on your timeline you just filed your petition last dec 2011 and you dont have your NOA2 yet...Im assuming this must be your 2nd? ^_^ Y

    You can schedule it yourself and you don't have to pay the VISA fee first in order to schedule. Just have your MNL number and answer all of the required information about you and your petitioner. Now you will have to get your medical done at Saint Lukes at least one week before the the interview and will have to pay the VISA fee also before the interview and bring proof of payment with you. Good luck.

    Pls explain this to me because i had a minor surgery or a biopsy on my right ####### i have not so good scar,had to take a little tissue out to test if its malignant or benign,luckily theres no evidence of malignancy on the tissue. Do i need a medical certificate regarding on this?

    Please look in at this link to the K1 preparation packet from the US Embassy Manila for what you need to bring. You can also look under Embassy reviews to see what experiences other have had at their interview and questions they were asked. Make sure your Petitioner send you a signed I-134, Affadavit of Support with all supporting docmentation, ax returns/transcripts, leter from employer, letter from bank, W2's, most recent paycheck stubs, etc. Good luck!

    Good Luck! I am sure one of these days you will receive your case number. As soon as the NVC confirmed you got the case number already. Please check with the US Embassy in Manila, if NVC forwarded your case to them. Just want to make sure they got it.

    Oh yeah cool thanks for this info, i haven't thought of calling USEM and ask that, i will do it soon..thanks
