I really doubt you will get it in 4 or so days from the US. It will be printed but will probably arrive in Laos like in 7 days. Because interview is Monday, they would have 4 days which will never arrive as planned. Extend it.

Visas issued the same days are just visitor or tourists visas.

No the embassy dont print these out. K1 visas are printed through DOS. They will be mailed, usually they tell you to come get it Friday. However its never there, wait a week if I was to do it again.

Oh yah and the expedite, I wouldn't even touch it. I hear people rarely get approved. Don't worry you guys are so close before you know it she will have 2nd thoughts of coming here. Mines is having a hard time even thinking about leaving her family behind and everything she had ever known.

You think she is having a hard time now. Just wait till she gets over to the US, while you work she will be home with no one to communicate with. Alot of couples say the hardest and depressing part was adjusting here in the US. You have to learn a whole new language and a new way of life. Another tip is, if you get the visa approval. Make sure to call first to make sure they have the visa to give out, because its mailed from the US to Laos Embassy. Ours wasn't there so my fiancee was sent home without a visa. Kind of disappointing but would of liked to know ahead before the 5 hour bus ride from Vang Vieng you know? Just a heads up.

Yah the embassy has approved the visa. My son's will be stamped as soon as my fiance get him his Laos Passport. Visa will be picked up this Thursday at 3:30 but they let you in like at 1:30 PM to pick it up.

No the embassy won't even let you go in for the interview sometimes.

Ppl like to interview at this time because of the holidays and the new year. So if they past their S/O here could and would go enjoy the new year with them and plus bring them back. Around this time of year is tough for the embassy because they get bombarded with interviews.

Eh 221(g) for past 6 months of pay stubs. We can't get employment letter because employers are switching to outside vendors for their admin work. So i have to send in 6 months of paystubs.

CO can and will ask anything they feel necessary. On the G325A I put waitress because at the time she was working at a restaurant. However I never brought in another G325A from what I sent in with the I129F.

No, interviews usually are set on date with a show up time around 7 am or 8 am. But K1 interviews usually are last to get interviewed after the other visas. After you pay the fee, you just wait to be called randomly.

Anyways it was bad timing, interview was after lunch. Before lunch my fiancee said they were just approving people left and right regardless of substantial evidence of not. All the Hmong ppl was after lunch so they all got the white slip.

They did the interview but had to issue the 221(g) for the employment letter. I will have to see what else they have in their bags of tricks.
