  1. Does anyone know how long before my wife is contacted for her interview after I have filed the I-130? She is in China and we are applying for the CR1 Marriage Visa. Please advise,

When did you file? The first approval can take up to 8 months and then you are off to the NVC and after that you get an interview

I hear it,it still feels like csc are focused on the K-1 visas and not the CR1

You should go to the interview of course! Some embassies doesn't want the petitioner in on the interview anyway.

  7. People say that the day you leave is the worst, but I say it's the day before because the only thing you can think about is the fact that you have to leave the next day. Trying to stay strong for the wife but it's hard when she keeps tearing up every now and then during the day.

Oh I know that feeling! I always walk around crying and my husband is trying to make me feel better even though he really is just as misserabel. Hopefully this will be over soon, I hate saying good bye.....

Are you applying for a visa for him as well then he should attend the interview. If not they are not too keen on company no matter who it is. But I don't think they'll do much more than give you the evil eye...after all it is a kid!

  9. Within the last 3 days our case was recieved by the NVC, left the NVC, and has arrived at the embassy in Stockholm! Now that is something! :)

  10. just got our NVC case number.. and the representative told me they will send the petition to Stockholm tomorrow or Thursday! yayyy! :)
