Just checked and one parent is approved. Waiting for 2nd approval and next steps from NVC.

Title says it all. I apologize if this has been asked before. I have been told that if one has been denied a tourist visa when applied for DV Lottery system will automatically drop the application. Can someone please confirm if it is true?

UPDATE: both cases have been under review sine Aug 15. Today one shows estimated time until case decision 3 weeks and other case 2 months.

I saw November filer's case was approved. So it may be case by case and Service Center related.

Status updated like many here to "case is taking longer than expected to process". I believe when it gets to NVC it will move a lot faster until then it is going to be waiting game.
