Well, the online system is reputed for being unreliable to some extent. But i'm wondering did you sign up for case status update online via texts/emails? (I did)

Or are you suppose to get such updates automatically with the inclusion of G-1145 in your initial apps? anyway just be on the look out for the physical mail then.

I did sign up for case status update online via texts/emails and i also filled in the form G-1145 but no update for me until i got it in the mail. Only my last name (Maiden name) and my first name in it, my middle name is only one initial coz my names is really long lol. Tommorow i should bring marriage certificate, my PP and EAD & AP to apply SSN then NY State ID right?

Yay. Finally i got my combo WP and Advance Parole. NYC offices is really backlogged. Actually my work permit card was approved on Apr 04, but i got no update until i got the mail with the combo card in it. Weird right? So after 57days i got the work permit and advance parole card. Now waiting for the interview letter mail.

Congrats Jess0311. Good news for NYC fillers. Nothing news for me since i did walk in biometric. I just got the job offer in NYC and do need the work permit ASAP haizz....

14days since i did walk in biometric but nothing news. My schedule is Mar 19. I need work permit ASAP coz i just got the job offer in New York. Will work after i come back to NY from my North West trip. Any news any one?

Hi, i heard walk in Biometric in Manhattan is not easy anymore so I did biometric in Brooklyn. 1260 60st, brooklyn. NY 11219. Hope it helps.

Look like my case is under normal processing. Just got biometric letter today. Schedule is on Mar 19 but will try to do walk in on Wednesday as i will have a trip in Oregon and California from 09 - 21 Mar for Spring break.

Any updates for NYC fillers?

Well it says to wait for 7-10 days for it to arrive. So relax, The journey is a long one, You'll need all the patience and try not to compare your self with Cava alone maybe with 4 more people of same time range.

Thanks. Actually Cava & i made a joke last week. "let's see which application is faster" lol. Anyway i got NOA1 for 3 of my forms today (I485, I765 & I131) but missing one NOA of I130. I called USCIS and the customer service checked my case and told me, they sent NOA of 4 forms at the same day on Feb 14, just wait until tommorow or couple days and it will be arrived.

Well, Waiting game has begun.

Well. I sent package on the same day as Cava but he got NOA mail on Feb 18, i still dont get NOA mail... Actually i sent Money order not cheque as my friends advised me, if we send Money order, the process will be faster, but it seems slower than the others haizz or just because i live in NYC? Anyone has ideas abt it?

I see that some people go for their biometrics before their appointment is this a normal thing to do? Does it speed up getting your EAD? Any further info on it? Or anyother helpful hints for a feb filer

Hi Cava. Can you update your application's process in your signature so everyone can see the update. Do u live in NYC also? It's interesting that we sent AOS package on the same day and also got NOA on the same day too. Let's see the speed of the 2 applications :-)

Regarding walk in biometrics, i think it may speed up a little bit.

Oh I sent my AOS forms on 8 Feb same as the OP and also get NOA at the same day.
