  1. Hi! I have traveling through Amsterdam 2 days ago. I did't need a transit visa.

But before I send a request about it and got the answer. It looked like this:

,Thank you for contacting the Netherlands Information Desk. Please find more information on Airport Transit Visas (ATV) on our website: www.rsonac.org/schengen-visa/visa-instructions-for-the-netherlands---schengen/other-citizens/airport-transit-visa-for-the-netherlands---schengen.html.Visitors of most nationalities transiting through the Netherlands do not need an airport transit visa for transit in Amsterdam. Check the requirements for your nationality here: www.rsonac.org/schengen-visaIn order to be exempt from needing an ATV, please make sure that:- Your ticket is confirmed (if you have a stand-by ticket, please check with your airline for their rules and regulations!);- You stay in the international transit zone (DO NOT go through customs and immigration)- Your luggage is checked through to the final destination;- Your stopover in the Netherlands is the only one in the Schengen territory (meaning there is no flight to a second Schengen country before you travel to your final destination). If you are leaving the International transit zone and are going through customs, you will need to apply for a Schengen visa: www.rsonac.org/schengen-visa/visa-instructions-for-the-netherlands---schengen/other-citizensPlease note: an appointment is required for consular matters such as passport and visa applications. 2. Hello everybody!

Really need the advice of VJ family. I got my green card based on CR-1 vise. Though it is valid till 2023 I do believe that it is conditional green card. I am supposed to travel with my husband .

My question is can it affect the re-entry to the US. We have already have spent two weeks and a half in Asia in August-September. So i used my green card at the order . And I will be in Europe for a month in September to the middle od October.

Do I need any other re-entry permit document just in case?

    Thank you in advance!

  3. hi everyone who has the experience with CR-1 visa!

the question is whether i, as a CR-1 visa holder, am eligible to travel abroad . my passport was stamped by the port of entry of the US, the SSN card has arrived but the conditional green card has't come yet. my husband and me are planning on travelling in the end of summer.

    Thank you in advance!

  4. Hi everyone,

I'm look for people's opinion/experience with contacting their congressman for help. We are currently 196 days or 6 mo and 14 days, which is clearly past the stated 5 months goal, however, USCIS does not think so. I have already drafted the letter to send to my KY congressman (Rand Paul). My fiancee is worried that asking for congressman help may actually make things worse. Does contacting your congressman really helps? Or are we better off to just patiently wait for NOA2? I really feel helpless here, I want to do something to help our case, but there is just not much you can do. BTW any one contacted Rand Paul office before? are they helpful? outcome?

    Thanks everyone!

Hi! contacting congresswoman definitely helped us. we were waiting for 10 months and my husband used all ways to learn more about our case. He did infopass twice as well. the second one was really helpful. so, i do recommend you to do it and it will never make things worse. everything is going to be fine!!!!

  5. it is JUST horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just wish my husband was at home now or here in Moldova, with me!

I understand that there were Newtown families near the finish line in a VIP section. The last mile been dedicated to the victims, and there were Newtown parents running the race. No word if either runners or spectators are amongst the dead and injured.

  6. Horrible! my husband Paul was there supporting runners for the charity Organization Christopher's Heaven!!! I have just called him.

BOSTON —Two explosions have been reported near the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street as thousands of people gathered for the race, and there are reports of injuries.

The blasts happened at about 2:50 p.m. near the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets. Witnesses said several victims lost limbs, and the area was being evacuated.

The first explosion happened across from the Lenox Hotel and the second blast was about 15 seconds later, witnesses said.

Many of the injured appeared to be spectators who gathered for the 117th running of the race.

NewsCenter 5's Sean Kelly said the impact of the explosions could be felt blocks away.

The victims were being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

NewsCenter 5 and WCVB.com will have more information when it becomes available.

    Is this case complete...

    Dear Sir or Madam

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at the following URL: http://travel.state..../info_3742.html

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wishing you good luck on your next stage!

We haven't heard from NVC yet.

Hi! My husband had it on January 4. He would like to get more info about our case which is being reviewed 283 days. He did't get any information except to make another appointment in 30 days if we don't get any decision. She only said that the long delay due to the fact that they lack employees and are extremely busy. That was all.
