Hello everyone i hope i can get some help. I am a US citizen i would like to file for my mom to get a greencard. Here is my issue. She has overstayed her time that she had on her visitor visa. Is that going to be a huge problem or is there any special procedures i have to know about. I read that I must file the I-130 and I485....Can i file them together or i have to file the I-130 first. Please i can't afford to use a lawyer. If there is any link on info i would greatly appreciate it.

I thought the medical that was done in your home country is valid for a year and you wouldn't have to do it over only if that year had passed.

I am asking these questions for a family member.......My aunt is about to file to become a citizen thru naturalization and she would like to know if she can file 2 -3 months before the full three years.
Another thing she has a 20 year old daughter and wants to find out if her daughter would automatically get her citizenship when she file and if the age would be a problem. Please for your respond

i doubt it will take a long time i think they just need to check the background of the co-sponsor to see that everything is legit dont give up hope

the email is nvcresearch@state.gov
1.place case number in subject line
2.attach copy of your approval notice
3. write petitioner and beneficiary full name and date of birth in the body of email
4.explain to them your situation (when approval was received and that your want to know the status of your case)
-
if you want you could also add an additional page including the # and question and then write out your name no biggy
and there is no need to notarize your documents that is not a requirement
