Either that or Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen.

I'm flying on Christmas Day to Charleston with Newark as my POE for a two week visit to see the fiancé.
Will post the outcome when i get web access.
Have a letter from my employee and the finance agreement for my car as evidence of my return to the UK just incase.
-
Yep. I used one of the nicer PPT templates and just added "Portland, OR: July 2011" or "London, UK: April 2011" as the caption and then put a couple of photos on the slide.
Thanks for that. I've put something together with about 8 slides. Did you print it a page per slde or 4 to a page? Thans again
No, the beneficiary is not required to send a copy of the pages of their passport. Just do a copy of your bio page to show it is your passport, and the pages with the stamps you need to show.
The USC can use a copy of their birth certificate, naturalization OR a copy of all pages of their US passport. That is for proving they are a USC.
Thanks for that. So far i've photocopied my visa pages and stamps. So i'll photocopy the Biog page tonight and put it in there.
-
You do not need to copy the entire passport if you are submitting a birth certificate. I would include the bio page if you are doing photocopies of the stamps.
For our approved I-129F we submitted 2 photos, 2 sets of boarding passes, his passport stamp (since I travel on my UK passport they don't stamp it going into Europe), and train ticket stubs from going from Copenhagen to Aarhus to meet him. That was fine and there was no RFE.
IMO, from a low fraud country, you don't need to go over board with chats and things.
Thankyou so much for your help
Including the hotel receipt would be great. I didn't include any Skype or FB items. I had my passport, a hotel receipt, boarding passes from our trips, and about a dozen digital photos that I organized into PowerPoint slides with the dates and locations, which then printed it out for the petition package.
Thankyou so much for your Help.
The powerpoint idea sounds a fantastic way of presenting the pictures. I take it you just had the pictures and the date/location on each slide

Responses in red below:
I have photocopied the receipt i received for the room security deposit if thats any use.
What are your thoughts regarding the skype chat and facebook chat messages. How much of this did you include?
I have also copied a customs postage declararation from a parcel amber sent too me. Thought that may be of some use.
-
Hi, you will need to copy the entire passport, from front to back even the blank pages, your letter or intent to marry from both of you, pictures of you two together with dates and description on the back, divorce decrees if applicable, obviously the necessary forms 1-129F (I-129F Supplement Part B #18)and G-325A form for each of you with passport style photo of each with name on back.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
Hey
Thanks for that.
All our forms and letters are ready to go. Its just the evidence of relationship i was worried about.
As the beneficiary i dont require a full copy of my passport do I? From what the guide on the site says its just the USC who needs to provide that.

Oh and I am printing 10 pictures of us from various places to add into this

So we are preparing our Petition Packet and I have just been photocopying evidence that we have met and are in a relationship.
We plan on sending the packet shortly after I arrive in the US on Dec 25th ( obviously will have to wait a couple of days till the USPS Postal office opens).
I just wanted to run by what evidence we have included so far and to see if those with experience think we have enough for the initial packet.
Evidence so far:
- Photocopies of boarding passes from my two previous trips to visit amber and a copy of the boarding pass from my outward journey and luggage id sticker from the inbound journey from the vacation i went on when me and amber finally got to meet back in july 2011.
- Photocopies of my passport entry stamps and visa pages including my J1 stamps as i was on a J1 when me and amber met online.
- Photocopies of my airline booking confirmations including the one for this months trip
- Photocopies of the Engagement ring receipt.
- Photocopies of the email confirmation from Wicked in london that we went to see in August
- Photocopies of the hotel reservation for london
- Photocopies of skype and facebook chat messages. I have just selected a few pages from the hundred or so we actually have as I had heard these are more useful at the embassy rather than the initial packet.
What do you all think?
Will this suffice or do you think we need other evidence.
Thanks
Rich

Congratulations to Both of You.
I know the wait will be worthwhile.
We start our journey when I visit at christmas with a plan to be through the K1 side of the process ready for a Feb 14th 2014 wedding.
Very random question but does the Fox Soccer Channel show any Championship games?
Im a big Hull fan.
Thanks and congrats again

Reading into this as the K1 is classed as a non immigrant visa we wil not be subject to this fee. Only CR1 and IR1 will need to pay from the spousal side of visas

We will be starting our application early January 2013.
As an estimate your looking at possible NOA2 by early July 13. After that the ball is in your court re how quickly you get the medical an required docs in Place before your interview can be scheduled.
Once you have submitted your petition fill in your timeline an you will get an estimate for your case

Hello all!
We're married!! The wedding ceremony and reception were so great and went off without a hitch. It was so much fun! We went to the county office to turn in the certificate and get certified copies first thing this morning and then went to the Social Security office to get our new cards going. If all goes well, we'll have them in about a week.
Congratulations

Thanks for the Help

Hey
We are starting to fill out the required paperwork needed to submit our petition at Christmas when i am over visiting Amber.
Just a quick question re question 18.
If we are attaching a seperate sheet, will SEE ATTACHED SHEET suffice as an answer in the box for this question.
Or do we need to put further information in?
Many thanks

With regards to the Pneumoccocal Vaccination.
Is this required for a person under 65?
Found this table that identifies required vaccinations but not sure if its to be used as its not official from the UCIS etc

i am getting worried as some people say most people at the airport there doesnt really talk English as much and considering i have to transfer from terminal 2 to terminal 3, do you have any site where you can recommend for me to read so i would be aware how things work there before my flight.. thanks a lot
The official Beijing Airport website will be your best place to look. Failing that try here http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/capital-airport.htm
Its a simple bus transfer from T2 to T3. Be aware T3 is HUGE. 2nd largest terminal in the world.

I'll hear more about how POE went later tonight, but it was really quick! His text to me just before turning off his phone as he entered the queue was at 5:14PM. I got the text that he was through customs at 5:31PM.
Congratulations
Hope you're enjoying your time together after a long wait

It's seen as a 24 Hour Period
http://en.bcia.com.cn/guide/transfer_i_i.shtml
Just to clarify, she arrives at 1245 am and departs at 755am the following day.
As thats more than a 24 hour period, she will require a chinese visa.
Going to see my Sweetheart!

Merry Christmas Folks
To all those that can be with their partners this Christmas have a wonderful one.
For those that can't, make best of the situation as soon you will be reunited.
Writing this from the airport before my flight.
