      Could you please to tell me how long after the DNA test that the US Consulate would contact you regarding the visa issue, Kazulie? :)

      YOU have to contact them. Otherwise it can sit at the embassy for months and months. After you know the results have made it to the embassy, you should start calling them once a week asking if u can drop off the passports for visa insertion.

      It seems to be a windfall of beautiful things to come for April 15th! Everyone is scheduled for stuff on the same day! I'm so excited! BTW, my phone is screwed! I've only got 15 more days on this contract, so I'm waiting it out so I don't have to pay for a new phone. I'm missing you and praying for you!

    Yes, I knew we were going to get a DNA test so I scheduled the appointment for the same day as the interview. My husband (is in the States already) got his DNA test done the day of the interview, and the kits were sent to the embassy in Nigeria for the boys the same day as well.
