Administrative Processing.... at the NVC. I don't think this is a good sign
-
it's going okay... the wait's tough, though! I'm actually on hold calling the NVC now to see if they've received our case yet. How are you holding up?

Documents from his side will be legalized (similar to notarized but quicker and cheaper to come by) and translated into English... if not written in English to begin with. You're most welcome; looking forward to hearing your good news as it comes along!

you're absolutely welcome; I hope it was helpful!! BTW, my attorney said it's really only necessary to have the affidavits from my side for the NOA portion of the process (because that's the part where they're verifying me as the petitioner). He doesn't really need his until the interview. That said, we still sent the one from his dad stating that we have his family...

Congratulations!! How long did it take between receiving the NOA1 and the NOA2??
-
Things are going well so far; we received the notice of receipt from USCIS on Jan. 31st that it's gone into NOA1. If the VisaJourney timeline is any indicator, I expect we'll have an adjudication at the end of May if all goes well, incha'allah. How're things going with you?

Thanks so much! Wow, it's so nice to have support from people who've actually been through the process!!

Thanks, I actually posted a whole long thing earlier today (it's the one on the portal that's called something like "new to VJ.com and have a question"

Wow, your process was very fast! Any speculation as to the possible reason for this?
-
thanks, Amber! Just looked at your profile; congrats on what looks to have been a fairly painless process for you guys! We're hoping for the same thing, incha'allah!

Hi Courtney, thanks for the add! I read how you guys met--similar story to me and Youssef; how fun!! So where in Morocco were you/is he from? Youssef is from Rabat.

Sure wish I knew which Visa Processing Center I need to work with... I'm guessing Vermont but not sure.
