Finally an interview date.. Sept 30 th and we were expedited.. The hubby turned in all the paperwork this afternoon and was able to select his interview date.

Nope.. He is able to set up his medical as they gave him the list of docs and some sheet.. I will keep vj posted.. I'm less nervous and just pray for patience

I know I saw your post. I think there was a problem with our originals not being recieved not to freak you out. but all was submitted to the NVC before the expedite was approved.. My husband went to the consulate upon their request and was told to get his medical done.. which I guess he can now with this checklist.. bring in all the original documents we already submitted which is unnerving as I didnt know you could pass the medical without an interview date. The letter also states taht he should drop his passport and the 2 photos.. I am beyond confused since we already sent in the photos..I should probably just calm down.. I hope your process isnt as stressful..

After the expedite was approved it took three weeks to get any communication from the Consulate.. the communication we received has been send in all the same documents you sent to NVC and submit them between x and x time with your passport.. Whats strange is that you cant get a medical done without an interview appointment in Morocco so they have requested the medical eval, all of my husbands vital records again.. tax documents, aOs and relationship evidence... I'm confused as to how we can submit the documents together if he cant get a medical eval done.. what is this? HELP ME

I have asked the admins to move your question to its own thread so you can hit a wider audience and maybe get some answers.

I do know of many from varies embassies that waited 1 to 3 months to hear from embassy. Expedite doesn't always mean expedite. DR embassy is the worst for that one.

Hubby finally got a phone call from the consulate. He will swing by around 2 to pick up some paperwork.No idea what it is...They said they will send an email also .. I wilk check in later today we were expedited btw..

does it really just sit at the embassy.. my expedite was approved last month and still no interview date.. I have been told that my husband will be contacted.. its been 3 weeks I dont know what to do..

maybe this should be in a different thread.. has anyone waited more than 2 weeks to hear back after your case is approved for an expedite and arrives at the consulate.. The consulate in casa is not answering the phone at all during its alloted time which is only from 2-4 on tuesday and thursday. they also havent responded to any emails... I am beggining to think there is a serious problem at the consulate beyond my paperwork.. has anyone had luck with Casa recently?

Still waiting on an interview date.. letter phone call carrier pigeon anything at this point it's been 2 weeks since our expedited case arrived and not a word.. I'm a bit nervous.

Hey we were approved for an expedite.. so we are at the embassy the NVC has nothing further to do with our case.. I was just trying to get an idea but i think for now i have to wait and let the snail mail.. arrive.. if anyone has been expedited in Casa pm me as I would love to know if they just process you and put you in the normal line or if the interview date is also expedited.. we have gotten nada from the embassy or nvc.. im not worried just want more info

Why are you at the embassy. They do not schedule interviews. You need to be calling NVC. There have been 4 from Morocco so far I know got October interviews. The embassy has nothing to do with IR1./CR1 scheduling unless you are there for expedite and got approved.

Hey how do you know they will start by Sept 4th.. My hubby just went to the embassy and was told to simpl wait for the packet in the mail.. we are about the same date as you.. cant wait for this week to finish. one week closer to being together.. ahhh

This is really for members familiar with the Casa consulate. Our expedite was approved and the case is currently at the consulate. Any idea or timelines for when the interview will be scheduled. Is that also expedited or is it simply in line with any other petition i/e/ 28 days from being recieved. I will not be posting why we sen an expedite request as some members can be catty please reply if you have experience in casa..

I suggest that you call NVC to confirm this news if you still don't know what to do!

I am literally speechless. I was just counting and counting the days... Still no official email from any party. I am guessing my expedite was approved aug 25th.. wow I need to call asap.

I did apply for an expedite.. im so shocked.. i dont know what to say or do or ... ahhh
