on your "My Dashboard" you will see "Appointment Confirmation", click the "Appointment confirmation" then

click on "printable version" , it will open up in pdf form (u can save that on ur computer by clicking on "save") or click "print now" to print..

yes. because the form that will be given before the counseling is what we call the Guidance and Counseling Form (GCF) that has more questions asked compared to the Registration form online

when u got ur sticker, that was the time when u were registering already. and that form online is the same to that long form back to back that u filled out at CFO. that's when if u want to save time answering the registration form they have in the office (that actually hurts to my eyes and takes time to fill out in those small boxes per letter) you can simply fill out the form online then print it and bring it to CFO. it would save ur time filling out the form at the office

they don't really ask unless u tell them u have the visa in hand already and u will register on the same day if u will get the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (GCC). after the seminar,if everything is ok, the counselee gets the certificate on the ground floor.. and may go to another window to register.. if they don't have the registration form yet, they can get it on the ground floor. or if they have the one online, they may simply submit the downloaded form from cfo's website. (This is in Manila)

By the way, aside from the land line number, his mom's maiden name, university degree/s, job, and the details as required on the online form, is there any other information that I need from him?

• Religion
• Place of Birth
• Date of Birth
• Civil status prior to present relationship (if he was divorced/widowed, know his previous wife/wives nationality and how many kids they have, if any)
• Telephone number (if he has no telephone number, you can put his mother's tel/cellphone number, or anyone close to him)

1.) What do I put on the "YEAR OF MIGRATION" if my fiance was born and raised in US? - birth year

2.) Also on my fiance's CITIZENSHIP, which is the grammatically correct answer, "American" or "U.S."? Or either will do? I know this is a petty question, but just trying to avoid raising any CFO official's eyebrow. - U.S. Citizen (is fine on CFO's form)

I have a few questions for Marilyn's POE/travel to the US.

What do we need for POE?

-Visa packet, Medical Exam CD(in case they will look for it), passport with valid K1 visa in it and CFO sticker

Do we need any of our papers from the interview process?

I know she will bring the sealed envelope, but do we need anything else?

What will they ask at the interview at POE?

-based in my exp, the officer asked my name, date of birth, petitioner's name, when will be the wedding, what is our plan after the wedding (which is to file for AOS), the officer will also take her biometrics and picture taking. the officer might also ask her what she brought with her (like food,etc..)

Can she fly into LA and I pick her up there (LA) then drive back to Las Vegas?

Am I missing anything? Should be easy as pie, right?

-once Marilyn is at her POE, she has to look for the line for first time immigrants

-impt docs must be in her carry-on so that it will be easier to access the docs in case the officer will ask for something else aside from those above

-and have a safe flight!

the option u have is to register in CFO NAIA1 desk if ur fiancee can't really get back to CFO office before her flight.. as long as the flight is within CFO NAIA's operating hours then she can register there.. she has to be at the airport atleast 3 hrs before her flight. and call CFO NAIA1 desk 1-3 days before her flight to inform them about her plan of registering there. the CFO officer at NAIA will be asking some of her flight details too as well as her and the kids's info..

ur fiance may register at CFO NAIA but she has to call CFO NAIA desk 1-3days before her flight. CFO NAIA desk is open from 5am til 12midnight. tel. (02)879-5685. she has to bring the requirements for the registration too

Can the Passports of the Fiance and children be securely sent to CFO office for sticker and pay for the return of the visa's to the Fiance?

no.. they have to register in person

yep. u can request for a CENOMAR.. if u really want to confirm if she has been married.. as long as u know her information.. no need for her permission to get this.

u can pay it through credit card and have it sent to USA or someone u know in the PH..takes weeks if sent to USA but u can have it expedite. that is if u still want to spend money and time investigating and confirming if she is really married or not.. but since u r planning to withdraw already, then i think no need to spend time and money for this..

now for those who are planning to look for their Filipina and u just want to be sure, u can get a CENOMAR of ur Filipina first before going into any process.. that is if u just want to be sure that later on u won't find out that she is actually married already.. but still depends too coz what if the girl gets married during ur relationship (i guess it's rare but it can happen)..

u have to attend the CFO GCP ASAP! or else u can't fly to USA without the CFO sticker.

The title says it all! We are approved this day!! I am so very happy! We are so very happy!! I want to thank all the VJ members whos advice and patience were instrumental in a well prepared interview packet and a well prepared fiancee all along every step.
