I posted here because this site helped me alot when i did the whole AOS thing, and i had A TON of evidence, so when she mentioned what she has, i started laughing....

I mean those absolutely do not prove in my opinion that they have a strong relationship. He refused adding her on the life insurance, 401k , house etc etc. I honestly did not know what to tell her except good luck because she's gonna need it. She didnt want to listen to me either when i mentioned more evidence...So i was curious how things work now, year after I did my AOS. Maybe its a little bit easier?? I sure hope so, for her sake....

A friend of mine got here on a tourist visa, got married before the visa expired, and she has the AOS interview next week. In the folder she put only a few photos and the joint bank account as evidence ( her husband's acc. where he gets paid). Do you think this is enough evidence for her to pass the interview and get aGC?? She also has a lawyer with her who will be present...

My question is, can she get married on the tourist visa? How can she prove that when she entered US wasnt with the intent to get married?

Hello all, I need some help from you for a friend of mine.

He is a US citizen, she is Korean, planning on doing DCF. Problem is that she has a minor child. Can she leave with the child to the US after DCF is done? Or does she need the father approval? If she has full custody does it make any difference?

Do you happen to know where i can look for DCF processing times for Korea?

Good morning girls !!

So last night I had the most horrible "Braxton Hicks" you can imagine. Ive been having these contractions for 2 days straight ( my tummy feeling super tight for 2 weeks i think ), but last night I couldnt take it anymore, and they were like 2-3 minutes apart. So i go to the ER and they hooked me to the machine and everything and check me and i was only 1-2 cm dilated. They sent me home after that cause they said it was false labor even if the contractions were super strong and 2 minutes apart....

What do you think?? Were they right? They said to come to the hospital only if im bleeding, my water breaks or if im having super bad contractions to the point that i cant even talk. REALLY ?????? I hate to think that labor is supposed to be like that and they were right. I havent experienced anything like this with Alex, my first son. Last night was horrible...

Maybe you've heard stories, or from experience....what are the true signs of labor? MAybe i was in labor and they were wrong...They refused to do anything...keep me there, pain medicine, induce me etc etc...My doctor is not in town and there was no doctor at the ER last night. They called the OBGYN on call and he made the decision to send me home if im not dilated, because he said he's not my doc and he cant induce me cause im 37 1/2 weeks ( only my doc could make that decision but she's not in town).

Im just really sad and shocked at the same time that i might have to go through all this pain at home alone, with a 4 year old for 2 weeks and a half and there is nobody that can give me solid advice...

I ordered a Chicco pay yard and the Chicco travel system and when i got them today, they also sent me a space saver high chair from fisher price, so i assumed it was a gift and i was all happy cause i dont have a high chair....But the only problem with it was that it had a girl pattern, so i call them to see if they can replace it and they tell me it was a mistake and i have to return it

Should i call them back and double check?? Or i was indeed supposed to get that gift?

We dont have anyone here...friends, family, nobody...thats why i asked the question.....Im already a nervous wreck about the moving/ travel in january with a newborn and the cat and the 4 year old now this....I guess my biggest fear was that

Do you know if i have to wait to get a birth certificate for the baby first, or can i get the hospital paper and send it for a passport right away? If the baby is born Dec. 15th, the latest i have to leave the USA is Jan. 30th and i dont know if thats gonna be enought time to get a birth certificate and a passport afterwards...

Girls, what do you think about inducing the labor aprox. two weeks before the due date? Any pros? Cons? I dont really know how all this works ( inducing, problems, c-section etc)thats why Im asking you...

My boy is due Dec. 15 and starting next week Im fixing to be All alone until Dec. 15th with a 4 year old and without a DL . My husband has to go to training before deploying and the military couldnt have picked a better date!! He might get 4 days off with the Thanksgiving weekend and i was thinking, if everything is good with my pregnancy, to ask the doc to induce me then so my husband can come here for 4 days and be present for the delivery/ watch my other son....

If you were to choose a travel system (carseat+stroller)- which one between these 2 would you choose? Chicco Cortina KeyFit 30 Travel System (295$) or the Britax Chaperone Travel System (530$) ? Which one is the safest? I like them both, but I cant make up my mind, plus i read the reviews on the Britax and aparently the carseat will not fit in a smaller car (which my mom has).

Also, is it safe to buy these from Diaper.com? Have you ever bought from that website?

Im afraid they will not let me book a bassinet seat if im flying with my cat. i know i tried before when Alex was 3 months old and a very nasty Delta employer said that you cant do that cause the cat has to be under the seat in front of you! Oh well...maybe i can get somebody to fly with me and get a seat behind me or something, and that way i can get the bassinet seat.

I was planning on flying Delta/ KLM through Amsterdam. Best airline/ airport ever!! (KLM/Shiphol)

I really wanted to buy a carseat/stroller/ playpen here and have them shipped with me when i go. And i was afraid if i hold the baby, they wont accept to ship the carseat, stroller and playpen.

I wanted to ask about traveling with a month old baby...he is not too young right? I mean ive been reading on Delta webpage and they said that you can start traveling with a baby when he is 7 days old... Can i do his shots when i get home?

I was planning on buying a ticket for me, one for my 4 year old and another one for the baby, so he can have his own seat and i can put the carseat there. My question is, do i have to bring the carseat base in the plane too, or i can ship it separately? Oh, and did i mention Im bringing my cat too on this trip?? So, to all the girls worried about one trip with a 6 month old, believe me, it will be a piece of cake comparing what mine will be in January

Also, somebody mentioned a while back that you can buy a playpen here and ship it with your luggage and you can pick it up at your destination?? Is that true? Or i better call the airline and double check?

Did you have any help with the baby? ( babysitter/ relatives, not the husband) did your relationship with your husband turned more sour now cause your more a mom than a wife? Or you managed to have time for everything?? ( baby/ cook/ clean/ yourself / husband? )Did your husband ever complain that is not just you and him anymore?

Just curious... and a little sad cause my relationship didnt turn out as i hoped after having a baby and now another one on the way.....

I went for my biometrics on june 7th and i finally just now made an account online with USCIS..... So i put my NVC number and everything and it showed me that on May 13th the sent a letter for request for evidence!!!Really ?!?!?! Well, it's June 13th today and i got nothing and i already did my biometrics....I swear, these people need to do their jobs better, fix their computers or whatever!!! I nearly had a stroke when i saw they mailed me a RFE in May....Hopefully it means it was the biometrics letter.!!

I took my son Alex on his first trip to Romania when he was 3 months old. He was very good, slept when the plane took off or landing, and fussed very little only when he was hungry. Same thing when he was 9 months.

His third trip however, it was a NIGHTMARE!!! Traveling with a 1 1/2 year old, by myself....He cried and yelled for 25 hours straight. I thought i was going to die He sure hated being strapped in his carseat and he would not sleep for nothing.

I recommend 1 thing though: DO NOT hold him in your lap the entire trip, buy him a seat. Trust me, it's worth the money

It's an affidavit . I went to the Base lawyer and he knew what it was and typed the thing and then notarized it and then me and my husband signed it.

It pretty much said that my husband, name, address, working at...., gives me permission to take our boy , name, address... outside the US .

Every lawyer should know what it is....

When they called back to rescheldule i missed the phonecall so i called back and explained everything and the nurse went and talked to the doctor and she said there is nothing wrong, nothing to worry about, she probably looked at the file wrong Thats all she said. Of course ill ask her what is going on when ill go back.

With my son (4 yrs old) i went once a month too, that early in the pregnancy.

Kopa, I always took the signed document with me, just in case they go crazy and they ask for one,I wanted to be prepared and not to be sent back to the states just for a piece of paper. I went by myself 3 times, and one of those times they asked for it.

To all the mommies and pregnant ladies : how often did you go see your doc in the first months to your pregnancy up to month 4-5 ??

I went to see my doc the other day, and in the office she said "Ill see you next month". All she did was an ultrasound and a pap, and said that everything looked great with the baby on the ultrasound. So I leave, make an appointment for July and then the nurse calls me an hour later saying that the doc wants to see me every 2 weeks from now on instead of every month ( i am 13 weeks pregnant) Of course this freaked me out now and I was wondering what can it be wrong.

Have you had this happen to you?? Im starting to get all paranoid here
