Waiting waiting and still waiting omg when is my journey finally going to end, 120 days already passed call and got a refrence number have to wait 15 days for an update geez this wait is harder than I thought:(

Hi all i am planning to leave to DR until the process for my husband apeal is completed just wanted to know if anyone here knows where i can find a job out there in the Capital and if anyone can help me to find a job over there.

Hi hope all is weel with everyone as for things are going good i went to my Congressman yesterday and he is going to help me get thru this denial and hopefully soon i will have good news to tell all my VJ friends, its just a waiting game right now:)

When i called the VS they told me our case is under AP is that a good thing or bad thing since we got a letter before leaving the Embassy that case was being sent back to USCIS for revocation, do u think the letter my lawyer sent the general consul made them put my case under AP all is it a normal process in order to be sent back to USCIS. Please advise

well for me I had a battle going on...I called DR (purchased the pin at banco popular and the $7 u pay here for info) they told me my case had been sent back on the following day my petition was denied. VS told me it was still in DR under AP. Congressman told me DR says they are sending it back...I went nuts!!! they finally let my congressman know that it was sent back 02/24.....from 09/29/11...5 months later!!!!!!! Just wanted to inform all just got off the phone with VS and they advised to me that my case is in AP what does that mean. At least i still have hope:)

Can someone here please give me advise to overcome this denial because if case is revoked he will be inadmissable from coming to the US and then my option will be to have to move to DR and leave everything here to be with him please i need help Thanks

back in NY without my hubby it was so depressing having to leave him at the airport because the consul said we were married for papers so sad ... I want to go back i cannot live without him:(

im very disgusted by the embassy in the Dominican Republic one of the questions they ask my husband was what did do for a living he said a coordinator and he could not pronounce home attendant coordiantor than the counsul asked what kind of coordinator a PROSITUTE COORDINATOR r u serious arent there laws that protect us citizens from being treated like this and then said how much did he pay me and i told her he didnt pay me and i have proof that im the one that sends him money and had all t...

time i petion anyone....i wrote a letter to the general consul an dalso copied the dept of state in washington dc of this treatment and also got in contact with my congressman and they are helping me out. unfortunately once they made up their mind there is nothing you can do...in the meantime, get ur congressman or senator involved, and start preparing a letter and send it to the consul general anc cc the ambassador.

my lawyer here in dr prepared a letter and i took it to the united states embassy but if u can please give me the other emails or address that u sent the letter 2 so that i can fight this because the lady at window 20 didnt even send us to window 11 she just decided on her own that it was for business

went to a lawyer in DR and she is going to type a letter so we can take to the consul to see if they can reopen our case because she was very disrespectful to me and my husband to see if they reopen our case before its sent back to vermont office it takes about a month to see if it will be approved if not have to wait for it to be sent back to vermont and then make an appeal either way i cant stand with my arm crossed because the section that she denied us on my husband will be in admissable ...

spoke with NVC finally case completed today 01/03/2011 so happy now waiting for appointment.
