  2. Hi,

Congrats to those with interview date. Wishing all goes smoothly for you guys.

And for the other who are still waiting like me, hopefully it won't be long.

I sent in I-130 for my mother on July 17th, then  I-485 early  November and was wondering:

    - will she have an interview.  Some people who did the same process told me they didn't had an interview but that was years ago.

-should I send in her medicals? or wait for the approval?

    Thanks for your help.

  3. Good to know. She has no visa for Canada s can forget hat idea.

Will start working on sending the I-485 package. Hopefully, i can mail it this week end.

There is still something i don't understand. Which one of the two should be approved first? I-130 or I-485?

Sorry if i have so many questions. Thank for your time.

  4. Hi,

I am permanent resident due for June 2015.My husband, a citizen, and i are wiling to invite my mother to pay us a visit as from the beginning of June till december 2015.My mother is retired, have a pension and some houses.

Going on my consular website, not much information are given about the supporting documents. So my questions are:
-What are the supporting documents my mom is supposed present?

-what are the documents we should sent to her?

-We are paying for her flight ticket and of course providing accommodation and nutrition. So what should she say when the question is asked ''who sponsors the trip? ''

-Should i mention am the one filling her application?

-Should we make a simple reservation or buy the ticket?

Thank you very much for your input.

    Have a great day

  5. Hi,

A friend of mine had her AOS interview in July and she was sent an RFE asking her to go to the nearest USCIS medical surgeon for additional medical.

When i looked at her vaccination sheet,it was exactly like mine (I WAS APPROVED) so we wondered why she was sent there.

When she went to the doctor,He said he doesn't understand why they've send her there since she had all what she needed. My friend told him the immigration officer who interviewed them told her that she was supposed to get another shot upon arrival to the USA,so the surgeon gave her a tetanus Booster (something like that).

She sent the respond to the RFE on the 31st of july and till date ,she has no update on her case when she visit the uscis website. It is stocked at the request of evidence stage.

They've called uscis twice and they told them to call back after one month of the submission of the response. So they called lately and they asked them to wait 2 months?

What could i advice her to do?

PS:she came on a K-1,sent her AOS application early March.

    Thanks for your input.

  6. Hi,

I think i gave you a glance of my experience inbox. But just in case,NVC doesn't schedule appointment for K-1.

If they asked your fiancee to wait she should wait...and i believe they will consider you more than her because you are the petitioner.

I will suggest you to be patient.Another point, i think this is the period they are dealing with the lottery.

All will be fine.Hope they will get back to you very soon.

  7. Hi guys,

i am so happy i had a wonderful experience for my interview.2 minutes after starting, all was over.yellow slip with a welcome to USA in hand...i was so happy. But my heart goes to those who are still in the process.i want to encourage you all.it is hard to wait but at the end,it is such a happiness. Therefore,be courageous and always positive...and don't forget having hopes on GOD.Patience does pay...even if we all prefer the fast track :luv::devil::thumbs:

  8. Hi everybody.

NOA2 in mail and already NEW headache.

My fiance's (self-employed) 1040 form, line 20 shows an income of $3000????.Its bank account shows for almost 2 years deposit of $3800/months and he spend at least $3500/month.He owns 1 house valued to $200 000 that he just started renting this month and he is paying a loan($2000/month) on the house he is living in...His part on this second house is estimated to $150 000.He also have 3 cars beside the one he is driving.

Question one:Am lost as for the tax transcript because, how can someone pay each month $2000 and have an income of $3000 a year?

Question2:As we will have to list the assets, are we obliged to do the appraisal on both houses? Each month he recieved a receipt for the house payment indicating the value of the house ,how much he owns on the house and he has a 7 years old appraisal on the same house.on the house he completely owns,he have the receipt he pays each year for property tax which state the house value.

Question 3;He started renting the house he fully owns this month, how can we include it as an income?

Question4:Do we need to state the value of cars?If yes, What are the documents needed.

Question5:Should we submit Tax transcript or tax return????

BIG QUESTION:How can we proove he will be able to support me?

    Thanks for your help.

PS;The household will include him and me.
