-
Medical exam done! O'Packet 3. Where art thou?!
-
Fantastic! I found something to do while waiting. I bought a small tree, named it the CSC tree and I will watch it grow! When it reaches the height I marked on the wall, my NOA2 will arrive. Wait and see!

It is like the universe conspires to make it not happen.

K-1 visa approved! Review follows shortly when I get home. YAY! :-D
-
So the last 2-3 weeks before the interview is the real test for patience. Slowly I am failing this test. Should have kept the job a month longer...

well there is a time horizon. You know for a fact that it will take at least 1 week from NVC to Stockholm. Another week for them to send out package 3 and back and then you will be scheduled for interview within 2-4 weeks. It's a fast embassy. You will have your visa within 5-7 weeks if you make sure to do your part

OH MY GOD!!! Packet 4 arrived, Stockholm Embassy honored my request for early interview date. Interview on 30th July, six days from now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my temporary driving permit today valid until the expiration date of my I-94. The lady told me to come back and renew it when I get either GC or EAD. Although, my driving (learner) permit looks exactly the same as my wife's driving license. The guy who took my photo said something about verification and went in the other room. Did they make a mistake there? Do I still have to take the road test?
-
Just called DOS and a nice lady told me packet 3 went out on the 10th. Hopefully, I'll have a reason to hug the mailman tomorrow!
-
Ah, I can't wait to receive EAD. Want to work NOW!

Do you have a job ready for when you recieve it? I've had two interviews with recruting agencies. One said I am overqualified for administrative positions and the other said that within a couple of weeks she could definately have a job ready fo rme. Other than that I have turned down one job and I had another interview today and one tomorrow. Hopefully, Ill be working soon

EAD/AP card received, AOS interview next week and relocating to San Francisco in Xmas. Exciting time!
-
AOS interview approved!, spent 15 minutes talking about solar power and ended up giving advice to the officer which company she should get solar PV installed. Then talked about Africa, travelling and tropical diseases for another 15 minutes. Then in the end, she just asked if everything in the forms is correct. Pretty relaxing experience!

The truth about CSC 16th June processing data is they have been approving about hundreds of K1 but did not send out NOA2 yet. This month we will have a LANDSLIDE NOA2s from CSC! BOOM!

No I don't expect m NOA2 in 4-5 months but I expect NOA2 for a lot of other people. The faster CSC moves, the faster my NOA2 will come too. I have been digging the statistics of CSC timeline in the last couple of years, it seems to speed up when they are getting behind timeline 5-6 months on an average. Maybe, because they put more manning on the job to clear backlogged cases but it also consequently creates momentum after the backlogged cases are cleared.
-
Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 4, 2012 and June 14, 2012*. With this pace at CSC? I don't think so
-
What do you do when your fiancee is sad and down because she misses you so much? You get her a kitten. Yup, problem solved.
-
Visiting my fiancée while having I-129F pending. Just got through POE, two questions asked. How long are you gonna stay and is your connecting flight tomorrow? *Stamp...stamp*
-
It's got to be this week! I can feel it!
-
Knew it that CSC was a cursed place from Day 1 over five months ago.
-
So after nearly 3 weeks we got an email back from nvcresearch@state.gov What really funny is our case status inquiry was answered by "Jesus" from Written Inquiry Unit.

I am now a believer of collecting air travel miles. We got a United awarded flight CPH-Honolulu, one leg on business class, the other on first class for 57500 miles + $150 fee! And I can bring two luggages for up to 70 lbs each for free too! A economy round trip ticket would have costed over $1800. So start collecting miles guys!

Hehe, sometimes, you can find business/first class at the same miles price of economy one.
We weren't gonna book a ticket until my passport arrived but this ticket is too good to pass. So we jumped the gun. In the worst case, I would have to reschedule but it doesn't cost anything to change the ticket the first time

Back in the waiting game!

Have to stop worrying about K-1 visa and get my #### back to work on my master thesis...
-
So my fiancee adopted another 5-weeks old kitten today. This is why soft-hearted woman should never visit the vet clinic alone. They always have baby animals from SPCA who need a home on display! We're gonna have a zoo before I get there!

Yep, it's been a rollercoaster ride. Got so happy last week until I was told that our case is put under additional processing with no timeframe, though they said all cases undergo additional processing. Got depressed again in the last 2-3 days until today. Finally, our case is out of the US, it's gonna go much faster from now on. Medical exam on Monday

Interview on Monday! I have imagined this day for so long, finally
