Celebrated our first wedding anniversary on the 14th of July, and will be celebrating my first birthday here a week from now! Have enrolled at the University and will be back to school come next month. Life is super exciting!

Sorry for not having replied earlier, but I was accessing the website on my phone and couldn't see the messages. Packet IV is the immigration packet. If you go to the Department of State's website, you'll see what I'm referring to. Not to worry if you can't find it.

If all they said is that they've forwarded your case to Mumbai, and not that it has come back, then chances are that you're gonna get a May interview itself. Congrats my friend!!! Wish you all the best!!!

Oh, before I forget, you can walk into the VFS office Monday thru Friday. Their work hours are 8 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 3 pm.

I did speak with VFS customer care and was told that all documents including medical results need to be submitted with the VFS office 4 to 10 days prior to the date of the interview.

I'm the wife and the beneficiary :-) Once NVC receives your DS-230 package, if all documents are in order, you should get a case closed in a day or two from the date of receipt.

Neither do I have any records except for a tetanus shot I took just a week ago. It shouldn't be a problem. When they do the blood test, they'll know what the age-appropriate vaccines are that are required. Not to worry. Just ask her to call up well in advance and fix up an appointment with the hospital.

Congrats to your wife as well. Yes, that email should suffice. I'm getting my medicals done in Mumbai at Lilavati Hospital. I've called up and fixed up an appointment for the 2nd and have been told that the results can be picked up the next evening. When is your wife's interview scheduled?
