Just got a text message from the Immigration!!! My interview is gonna be June,26!!!!

YAY!!!! Nervous and happy!!!!

EAD in Hands!!!!!! YAY.... So happy!!!!

So I just got back from the Social Security Administration, I went there to get a new social with my married name on it, so I can finally get a Driver`s License! So should be getting it in 2 weeks!

Now the next step of this game is: Interview Letter....

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On May 14, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application....

I hope I get my EAD this week...

I just got the SAme email and a text message, does that mean Im getting my work permission this week?

Hello Everyone!

I had my Biometrics appointment today and it went everything well... On the letter said 9:00AM I got there at 8:45, and at 9:00 I was driving home already...

Today also I went to the DMV, to try(ONE MORE TIME) to get my driver`s lisence, once I got a letter from the DMV saying that I was ELIGIBLE to get my driver`s lisence after they check with the USCIS for more information and request my official status...

So once I was there, the guy who attended me seemed again to have no idea what the hell were all those paers, and then he said that my NOAs were not valid because they were supposed to be green and not white. I said look thats what I got from the immigration... then he went to the supervisor room with my documentation and the letter from the DMV and then he comes back 20 min later, and he say I won`t be able to get it because my social security have my maiden name on it, and the USCIS documentation, my married name.... So, to sum up I left the Dmv without driver`s lisence and I was so pissed they will always find a new reason to not give it to me. I gave up today... Waiting for my EAD now....

Today also I got a text message from USCIS saying my case was updated. YAY When I checked the website, it says Prduction of EAD and something telling me to wait 30 days so they can mail it!

Well, I`m happy even after all of this bullshit, with DMV and that my case got a lil behind because with the problem with my undeliverable NOA`s but I`m glad I had no RFE`s for now!

So I went to the DMV today one more time and of course they found a way to complicate my life...

They said they need more evidence and are going to request more information with the Immigration. Then I`m gonna receive a letter on the mail saying if I can or cannot get a drivers license now...

The guy even gave me the eye test and made me fill up the forms to get the drivers license...

Its like giving candy to a child and then taking it back.

im gonna have to wait for that letter from the DMV and this can take between 1 to 3 weeks...

More wait games....

Hey yo people, I finally got my NOA`s on the mail this friday and also my appointment letter for May, 8...

Im so happy!!!

So yesterday I went to the DVM with my husband and all armed with my papers and the lady who attended me seemed like she had no idea what she was dealing with, then she called a supervizor and he said well everything seeems ok to me you CAN have your driver`s license, the only thing is you gonna have to return it this tuesday because there was a problem with something about the immigration on the computer and so he couldn`t get the drivers license done.

I`ll be there first thing this tuesday and then I`ll let you guys Know..,

Today I couldn`t believe what happenned!

Somebody from the USCIS called my cellphone, they wanted to confirm my address and ask if I went to the Post Office to register as a new resident and if I put mine and my husbands name on the inside and outside of the mailbox... I said YES YES YES!!!

Then the guy said he was gonna be sending my NOA`s tomorrow the first thing in the morning... YAY

Then after 20 min the same guy(very nice and polite by the way) he call me again and say that my appointment for biometrics was sent too and that was undeliverble too, so he is gonna have to re-schedule for another date! I said please don`t put a far far away date because all this wait is killing me and he said I will do the best that I can. He also said I`m sorry for all the delaay and you will be receiving your NOA`s on the mail in a week!

Well, me and my husband we put our full names and address on the outside and the inside of our mail box...theres not much that we can do but wait now...

I can`t do anything like that because my driver`s license is from Jersey, but I need a Pa DL, once thats where I live here now...

I just called the immigration number that they gave me and asked what happenned, the guy was nasty and he said that my NOA were returned because Neither me or my husband were registered at the post office to receive official mail. #######????

I dont even know what that mean. And he even said we need a identification on the Mail box, and probably if the mail box has only the number of the apartment they wont deliver.

Jesus, Why this is happenning to me?

So that means, I wasted all this time, waiting, waiting for nothing...I have to wait more.

dO U HAVE TO SIGN SOMETHING TO RECEIVE THIS LETTERS? bECAUSE AS I SAID MY APARTMENT IS A MESS!

20 days after receiving 3 text messages and 3 emails, and I still didn`t get anything on the mail...

I`m going crazy here trying to keep my cool...

Today I kinda had a thought that my letters could be lost in the mail box from my apartment complex, cos its a lil bit messy here, sometimes you find your mail in an extra box on the floor all mixed with the neighboors mail... sometimes you get mail from the neighbors in your mailbox... Its a mess...

Is there any way to know if I was supposed to receive the mail yet?

Like there is a number I can call or something?

As you guys know I said before on this topic my Driver`s license is expired, and I`m crazy to receive those NOA so I can TRY to renew my DL with the dmv.

If anyone know anything, please? Help me out here...

Wow dri me and u sent our package same day and I got my noa1 a week ago and I got my bio appt letter Saturday so I'm sure you will get it this week for sure. Dnt fret! :-) btw the DMV here in Florida I strict so I couldn't get my DL till I get my ead at least

Aw that really sucks you couldn`t get you DL in Florida.... They really make our lives harder!

I know we sent everything on the same day, and its driving me nuts cos I didnt hear from them anymore... Im praying that Im gonna be able to renew my drivers license... And my case is so complicated...

I have an expired jersey license and now after receiving the NOA I`ll try to get a PA drivers license, cos its where I live with hubby now. I used to be an Au pair in Jersey, and my International Permit is gonna expire only in December and so is my brazilian driver`s license.

I just wanna be able to drive and don`t worry if a cop is gonna stop me and I dont know what might happen... Biggest problem is my hubby doesnt drive, and I have to do all the drive...

Im preparing myself to go to a Dmv to try to renew my driver`s license as soon as possible... I`m driving with my license expired although my Internation license is still valid... But I heard that it doesn`t matter, once I get a Us Drivers license I could never go back to the International one...

So it basicaly means if I get stopped by the cops I`m in serious trouble...

Im so anxious, today is the 10th business day and no NOA1 yet...

Judging from your timeline, you received the text messages on the 12th and it does say it may take 7-10 days and I assume they mean "business" days, in which case today is only the 7th business day and the 10th business day isn't until the 26th-- so you are well within the time-frame.

But I know what you mean, I was certainly nervous waiting on my hardcopies also since I had been out-of-status for so long and it finally meant that I was legal again-- don't worry they will arrive!

Theres nothing that I hate the most...Being out of status... driver`s license expired...

I can`t wait till I can fix my life...This wait sucks baaaaad
