You should plan to stay more than a week since it takes about a week to get the visa after passing the interview.

thanks vyx. The interview is about 6 weeks from now and they told us PC will be ready in 4 weeks. We will check on them in a week or two and contact people at her former province to see where is her application at the moment. If we find out it's going nowhere, we will consider "coffee money".

Packet 4 is just a single sided page letter. No barcode just case number from DoS and a link to the Appointment Instructions at the Consulate website. Letter dated July 6.

My fiancee just called and said packet 4 just arrived today. I'll ask her and let you know soon.

Thanks. We sent in packet 3 on June 12. I called in the DoS this morning and got the info on the interview date. We haven't gotten the packet 4 yet but was told it was sent out on July 6. So expect about 3-4 weeks to received packet 4 after sent in packet 3.

If the interview is after late August then yes. I'll try to call DoS from now every week to find out when is the interview. I'll let you know.

Call NVC every day this week. I called them half an hour before midnight(eastern time)so no waiting. You should get yours this week. Good luck to you!

I did the same and was told two weeks. I got my case number from NVC on May 21 and left to the consulate on the May 23. You will get yours soon.
