  1. Ok, so I’m just gonna help my wife complete the i130 form. It’s been awhile since we completed the k1 visa application so I forgot how to address some questions that don’t pertain to us but the question I have is when we complete the i130 and a question that comes up doesn’t apply to us, do we answer with “NA” ? Or not applicable or do we leave the question blank if it doesn’t apply to us?

  2. Yes, I think I’m better off doing it myself since I did the k1 visa for my wife and didn’t have any issues and It will actually be cheaper if I do it myself. It’s not like I got 4-5k to blow anyways. I could save the money for the application fees. Do I have to fill out additional applications for each of my wife’s brother and sister or is it just one application for all the siblings? She has 1 brother and 1 sister.

  3. You have a good point. I see. It’s my wife’s responsibility to complete the application. It’s just that I’m expecting her to have questions she probably won’t know how to answer so I have to help her but I get your point. I’ll probably won’t bother with the legal help. I did the k1 visa by myself back in 2005 when I petitioned her and it was a breeze. I shouldn’t have any issues with this application either. Just saying. Thanks

  4. Thanks for your reply and assistance. I was expecting $5000 but I could handle this amount or something around that figure. I requested to speak to a lawyer I hired back in 2017 for some other legal matters which he was able to remedy for me so now I’m waiting to hear back from him. This lawyer was very professional and I got the results I was expecting so I’m not too worried about him screwing me over. I wouldn’t hire anyone else unless I’ve dealt with them before. Thanks again
