Congrats! You have been approved! Just check your tracking # on DHL site from the air bill or if you are very anxious, call the consulate on the phone and ask them if they send your passport. They are very nice on the phone. The package will contain your passport with your visa and an envelope that you must not open and give it to the immigration officer on the first US airport that you land on.

i'm checking the DHL website,but it hasnt been sent yet...i am guessing they need some time .

I am definitely going to call them if i dont see anything on monday...

So i am gonna receive a package,right?Now that i am done with the interview,and they have my passport...?

They didnt tell me anything...not a word,what to expect,they just said "ok,your vise will be mailed back to you in 3-5 days"..i wasnt even sure if i was approved or not...sigh...what a torture...

But,please...tell me,even knowing that i am approved...since they have my passport,that means we're good right?

hey..my interview is in two days...i have everything prepared,when i called to change my interview date,i asked if there are any interview fees i have to pay..they said no!....i know they know better,cause they work there,and they wouldnt lie to me,but i want to make sure,i dont have to pay anything for my interview...

My husband just had his interview on Monday in Montreal and to be honest the officer interviewing us did not ask for any proof of our relationship (which I found odd). He asked about our wedding and I mentioned I had a couple of pictures, he said he would love to see them, looked at them and then gave them back and that was it. I don't know if normally they ask for more proof or maybe just after speaking with us he just could tell our marriage was real.

I think with everything you have should be more then enough

One quick question...how would i know the consulate has my case...last night we received an e-mail,that our case has been completed and forwarded to Bulgaria ,there's also the interview date and stuff...but ,am i gonna get any more instructions after the consulate receives my petition?

I've been wondering,after case complete,how long does it usually take for the petition to get from NVC to the specific country embassy?...I know there's no exact period for that...but maybe if any of you have a clue..please share:)

I'd suggest calling up again and specifically asking: "Is my case complete?"

Sounds like it though with them mentioning about waiting for the email about the interview date.

Ok...so we called yesterday ,they didnt say if our case has been completed,but they did say that they'll send e-mails to both of us about the date and time of the visa interview....

I sent them an e-mail today,asking if its been completed...cause need to know.My husband said that the guy on the phone was really rude and angry for no particular reason....sigh

So i am guessing it could be completed,and we'll receive e-mails soon....or its not completed yet...but we'll still hear something ..soon...

Dont stress.. did you put the BARCODED cover sheet in front of you packet (as the 1st page)? that's what you need to do most inportantly. ITs already sent dont stress now, we put the case number on each paper incase a document gets mispalced they know where it belongs.

The barcoded cover sheet is on top of everything!!!Yes!....you know how sometimes little things worry you and seem bigger than they are,and how you want them to be perfect...especially now...I hope it'll be fine!

The reason for putting the case number on the top right of each paper (except the bar-coded cover sheet and cover letter) is in case a paper gets misplaced. If the case number is written on it, then it can easily be reunited with the case file.

hey guys i have a quick question...Does not writing my case number on the upper corner on every page of package IV would be a problem? I mailed it before i got the instructions..and then i saw it might delay the process,,.... and i am stressed out about it!!!

What's the court certificate for? Is that in place of the Police clearance certificate?

Yes, you send both original documents and photocopies of those documents.

Write your name, DOB, and case number on the back of your photos.. And if you like, write you case number on every document (just so if something gets lost from your pile, it can easily find its way back ) And the barcoded cover sheet should be on top of everything.

What you've described, 'we wont do anything until they ask for it' is the OLD SCHOOL NVC Postal Processing Intake.

Every three months or so, NVC Checks yer case status, and sends out instructions for what they want next.

NO DS-3032? They will send instructions for it, via postal mail.

No AOS/I-864? They will send instructions for it, via postal mail.

No IV/DS-230 ? They will send instructions for it, via postal mail.

So, you and yours have decided to flip into Old School NVC Postal Processing Mode.

Figure 3 months per thing, total of 9 months for intake on documents, with another 2 months after till the interview gets scheduled. Instead, if'n you follow LingChe, you'd be done within 7 weeks, with an interview coming up 5 weeks later.
