My fiancee is inside the US Embassy in Laos. I am a nervous wreck lol! Please pray everyone that she gets her visa........thank you so very much in advance:)

Hey Rick my fiancee just went inside the US Embassy in Vientiane. I am about to pull my hair out lol! I will let you know what the result is as soon as she calls me. Her interview is at 8am. Her father and mother have gone with her so that's nice. I so wish I could've been there with her but with work and money you know how it is. Talk with you soon my friend.

My fiancee will have her interview tomorrow at 8am in Vientiane, Laos woohoo! I am so excited and nervous at the same time. Please God let her receive the visa!

PS: So glad to hear she is with you in the USA woohoo!!! How is she liking the United States? I'm sure it has been a huge change for her but also rewarding.

Hey Rick! Sorry I haven't corresponded with you sooner. I just got back to North Carolina from Delaware. My father was in ICU and I went up there the last 4 days to help out. He finally got to come home on monday May 7. Had an obstruction in the right kidney and the doctors finally got it working again.

asked for our evidence when she turned in the checklist and DS forms, police record etc etc. So she gave them about 30 photos, our emails, chats, phone logs, western union transfer receipts, letters of intent, and airplane ticket stubs when I went to Laos. It's a shame that 2 people wait at least one year to get the NOA2 only to have a 5 to 10 minute interview. And in that time frame, the CO can either say yes or no....oh what power huh? Fingers are crossed for you as well.

In an indirect way, she will inform the CO that her father works at the embassy. This will at least alert the CO that her family definitely wants her to go to the US. Yes, we have all our ducks in a row and I have been triple checking everything lol!

What have you heard regarding the consular officers and the interview? Do they usually grant the visa if all documents are in order and the fiance answers most questions correctly? I appreciate your replies. Just like you, I want her to be with me in the US so badly! Of course, she feels the same way just like your fiance. Talk with you later.

In fact, when she gets to Suvarnabhumi airport, tell her to follow the signs that says "transfer" and show her next flight to an assistance as soon as she gets inside the airport. It's much faster that way. Japan is easy to find your next flight:)

I will let you know when her interview will be. I won't be able to be in Laos for her interview due to work also:( I will be going to Laos to bring her back to the US however. I would suggest going Laos to Thailand. Then Thailand to Japan to California. When she gets to Bangkok, have her show her next flight to an assistant and they will tell her where to go:)
