I've been following your case since my husband and I started our visa journey in 2011. I know we don't know each other but I've thought about you a lot, and wondered when you'd be able to be together. I follow your timeline, so I got an email today that said your visa was approved?? Is that true? If so, CONGRATULATIONS!! It's been so so so long, I don't know how you've stayed so strong. I'm so relieved and happy for you! Best of luck with everything...

Finally, approved!! The visa is on its way and my fiance will be entering the U.S. on Friday!! So happy and relieved!

Our paperwork was delivered to the embassy on Friday, but no word since. I don't think my sweetheart will be coming home this week.

The embassy courier service is not our friend. They no-showed for our Monday pick up. They picked up our package Tuesday, saying it would be at the embassy Wednesday. Well, that's not true either. Now they're telling us they won't deliver it to the embassy until Friday. So sad and frustrated right now.

Interview Complete. Outcome: 221g; Pending Additional Documentation. Sigh.

OMG that sucks!!! I just looked at mine and it does indeed show my (two) former names, so its really unfortunate they missed his. From what I recall the police cert didn't take long to arrive at all. You would have thought they would have raised this before the interview though

We called into the embassy today and found out our interview letter (Packet 4) is on the way, with an interview date of July 12th!! YAY! My sweetheart will probably be home in a month!

Packet 3 letter received, medical results showing received at the embassy, now just waiting for our Packet 3 forms to show up in their system and get an interview date. Pins and needles!,

The embassy is showing our package as received. We haven't received our "Packet 3" yet, but we'll be sending out the paperwork tomorrow just the same. Here's to hoping for a fast interview date!

DHL showing that they delivered our packet this morning. I hope the queen's happy with her jubilee, it delayed us 2 days! Rude!

2 weeks is the lucky number, I guess! Called this morning and our case left for the consulate yesterday! Yay! Go packet go!

Haven't been on VJ much. It's SO HARD to see the NOA2 announcements of people who got their NOA1 way after we did. Just have to distract myself with other things...

Reading the forums is SO HELPFUL. I snagged 2 potential reasons for RFE in our I-129F packet and am currently working to get what I need to respond to the RFE the moment we get it (if we do). Fingers crossed!
