  1. so our interview was 8:40AM, we arrived at the local office about 5 minutes early. after we checked in, we were called around 8:55 by a middle age male officer. he was very nice and friendly to us. he lead us to his office and did an introduction and shook hand. we looked nervous at the beginning then we said by looking at our file everything looks good and he didnt see any red flag for us not to get approve, and that just made us relax a lot. then he started by verifying all the information with my wife the petitioner, then he metion about my wife's previous married and he started with appologising that he asked a awkard question and we said it was fine. but he just barely mention that didnt ask any further question about her previous marriage and why they were divoced. when my wife mention she is pregnant, then the officer said that made our case even stronger to get approved. then its my turns, just verifying info and yes or no question. he mention that he saw that we have insurance together with the wife's family which is a good thing because we had the whole family involved.

then he asked us how we met and we told him our little love story... finally he asked us if we have any question at all, we said we didnt have any question and i mention that i brought the letter from the doctor to prove my wife's pregnancy and her life insurance with me as beneficiary and our 2011 joint tax return. and her paystubs from her current job which is different from when we file the application. he didnt ask any question about anything, just kept a copy of them. finally he printed out a congradulation letter stating that im a permenant residence started with today's date until April 17,2014. and he explained that we will have to file for the removal of condition 90 days before it expire. before he send us out, he asked that do we have anything to tell him that we think he should know and we said nothing at all.. then he lead us out and congradulated us.

over all, it was a nice and flawless interview and we were out of his office around 9:20AM.

now im just have to wait for the arrival of my Green Card.

    YAY!!

  3. received NOA1 hard copy today for all 3 forms

Hi there, I have recently thought about this topic so much and I hope that one day everybody can be with the one they love. I consider myself so lucky that I was able to file for my husband and bring him here to the United States and I know that not all people can do what I did. I never believed in gay marriage until when I wanted to marry my husband and after. Everybody judged us because I am from one country and he is from another and so many people were opposed to me marrying a man from an Arab country who is Muslim, so I understood what it was like to have somebody tell me I shouldn't have a life with my love and I started to think about what if there were laws preventing an American woman from marrying a foreign man? Really, love is love and with all the hate in the world, if 2 people want to love each other, God bless them. Even if society can't understand a life style, I hope that one day all can understand love. I wish your friends luck and that they will be together.

i dont think this is anything related to the original topic lol

  5. hi,

one last question before i send the package tomorrow

im still deciding to include a photo copy of both me and my wife's driver license with the same address together with our credit card that we added each other as authurise user with the same credit number on both card.

the worry about if the photo copy ended up in the wrong hand, with the photo copy of both credit card and driver license can do huge damage to us both.

    what do you guys think?

    thanks
