and can basically enter without any problems. What happens is when your plane lands, you head to immigration with everyone else, but instead of waiting in line, you go to one of the global entry machines, and it scans your passport, take your fingerprints, and takes a picture. then prints a receipt and then you're done.

The global entry is a program that allows it's members to skip the long immigration lines when coming back into the country. What you do is sign up for it, pay the fee and there is a background check on the people applying. In this case it was me, my wife, my step-daughter and daughter. When the background check is done and if you're approve they send you Global entry ID cards. This is basically saying that you're a trusted citizen and you don't need to wait in those long line...

Those who did or have started ROC, did you sent the application three months prior to green card expiring or earlier? In the website it says not to sent it to earlier. I want to know when did people sent it.

Update: We're going on 2 years of my hubby being here! Unbelievable! We're doing well and overcoming all obstacles that have come our way. His daughter is still with us, she will be returning home next month or march with AP and returning in June to wait for her GC. She will then leave to DR to live with her mother for good and visit us in the summers.(After all of the hassle, that was the agreement) We're also going on 2 years of marriage in April. Time flies! Still no permit, he has taken the test 5 times and failed. We are just gonna leave it up to God and not stress about it anymore. However we are excited to be returning to DR in May for vacation. I hope everyone is well!

this is some f****** bs!!!! How the hell is it possible that we still can't see the case online? I dont really care who is working on our case or about any processing times. How are other cases being sent to the same center (NBC) and they already got their biometrics? I feel like I'm going to blow up forreal. I've already waited more than enough since 2011. I'm sick of this bs

Vj friends sorry for not saying hi...it has been a lil busy for me..but just to keep you informed...hubby and i are super happy enjoying are married life. Hes been working since a month after he got here like you know ans he got a second job but he had to quit the partt time but other than that he has his permit waiting for road test in july i knowww long time but anyway......we still live with my family to save some money not only us but my parenta as well....my parents say hea adopted lol ...
